Not quite - it’s when you don’t have any idea who the performers are, and you take great pride in not knowing who the fuck they are - that’s when you’re officially old. Trust me on this one.

February 11Feb 11 Popular Post The issue is a lack of exploring art. At some point people give up. There is a hard date where music is good and everything else outside of a very narrow scope is bad. I make it a point to explore music through every genre and try to understand it. Some music needs context and some doesn't. As a white male raised in a very protected area surrounded by other well off white people, I have zero in common with a wide swath of music. The influence of great art in music is always struggle (or really good drugs, no....I mean heroin). Rap is almost unanimously created from a place of struggle and trying to rise above. If you are a serious person, you know why. It is imperative you have some level of understanding of the context. What Kendrick did yesterday was groundbreaking. A black artist from Compton that came from nothing, performed at the superbowl and made a statement that many flat didn't pick up on. Some because they don't try to understand context and some because they are just flat racists. Either way, even if you hate his art, he did something that hasn't been done before. That was history and it was a masterclass. Edited February 11Feb 11 by HOOKEM4 ousux
February 11Feb 11 I hate new/ red dirt country. That's as racist as my dislike for rap, which is fucking zero. Y'all gotta stop it with that shit as your comeback. It's pure bullshit.

I'd point out that you used the term 'Super Bowl' 8 times to convince us that the Super Bowl is not an important QB metric in your opinion, though. In a thread about the Super Bowl. I believe both Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen have better career stats through 7 seasons than Brady. Would you take either one of those guys over Tom? Winning Super Bowls are important, but it is not everything. To win Super Bowls you need to have a solid team around you. I think people tend to overlook that aspect. If Steve Young stays with Tampa Bay there is a good chance, he was his generation's Arch Manning. The Brady vs Mahommes debate is over blown at this point. What makes Brady stand out is the 20 years of high-level play. Mahommes is on pace through 8 years to rival or surpass Brady, I dont think that should be considered controversial. The odds are against him doing it for another 10-12 years. Chiefs will likely get a new coach and perhaps a new front office in the next few years. To dethrone Brady a QB is not only going to have to maintain a high level of play but also get lucky to be in organization that has consistency.

A lot of original operas, musicals have been winners. His sticks out as one of these things is not like the other. I'm not sure why he got that. I've listened to the album. It's fine, not something I'd have on repeat or anything. 13 hours ago, butthurt said: The vocals and lyrics in rap are more emphasized because there's less going on musically. 90% of the songs you could play with a Casio keyboard and a drum machine. Bands are playing instruments, the music is more complex. There might actually be some improvisation. I'm glad for that everyone liked it. When it's Morgan Wallen with special guest Jelly Roll next year I'll probably be unimpressed again.
February 11Feb 11 In the Super Bowl last night, Patrick Mahomes was pressured on 38.1% of dropbacks, the 5th highest pressure rate he's faced in his NFL career. Leading to his 2nd worst performance by EPA in his career (-19.3). Houston Texans' QB CJ Stroud had an AVERAGE pressure rate of 39.4% this season. In the Divisional Round, Stroud battled a 51.4% pressure rate & posted a 287yd 0 turnover performance (+0.7 EPA) down 2 starting receivers against Kansas City. So for anyone that watched what HOF 2x MVP 3x Champion Patrick Mahomes dealt with last night & could not overcome, just know that wasn't even an average game for Year 2 "Sophomore Slump" CJ Stroud. (Per-NextGenStats & nestagraphics)
