Too bad about the woman that was shot by Ice in Minn. I guess she considered herself a "Sovereign Citizen" and had no need to obey the lawful orders given to her... Hey, y'all remember the black woman

  • Flexing your ability to travel to a country you aren’t a citizen of to take advantage of their healthcare services while bitching about immigrants abusing the system is certainly something

  • What’s worse than your average maga about sparky is he’s posting this vitriol while sitting at a dialysis machine getting a life extending service paid for by you, me, and the very immigrants he despi

Heard this story on Texas Standard this week about what happens when ICE raids meatpacking plants out in small town Texas. Hint: it ain't natives who show up for job interviews.

An excellent article on the same raid of the plant in Cactus appeared in Texas Monthly a week or so ago for further reading:

Every single person that voted for the orange con man shares responsibility in her death. This child was still in the infancy of life. She had barely started scratching the surface of her potential and what she would become because of 77.2 million people who voted for an idiot thinking nothing bad could happen. The kids that bullied her got the message that it was okay because their environment at home did not care about the effect the election would have on children.

Congratulations you idiot cultists. This child’s blood is on your hands.

When power eventually swings back the other direction, and it will, the new president needs to invite him to the SOTU speech and slap the grin off his face with a frying pan.

This administration illegally denied hundreds of people due process, then deported them to a country they’ve never known, run by an authoritarian infamous for cruel treatment of prisoners. They then deceived a federal judge to buy time for the planes to land so he couldn’t do anything about it. [contains quote post or other embedded content]

LOL, basically nothing happening in Chi.  Some venezuelan gangbangers were arrested and that's about all I've heard.  All talk and bullshit. Like Brisket said, just a 'look over there' tactic while they line their own pockets.  Proud of Chicago.

you wouldn't find that kind of cruelty in the basest grindhouse film.

Original Speak no Evil would like a word.

But yes. There is no limit to the cruelty of these cunts.

I refuse to go down in history like the neighbors of Auschwitz.

We need a leader. I've got too many skeletons in my closet to do it myself, but I'm ready to fight.

Who is it going to be?

Glad to see that the neighborhood is no longer black and white like it was in January.

Good to see that Michael Jackson's old nose doctor is still getting work. In her case maybe he actually added flesh to make her human form more believable.

Republicans are in full revolt against the law.

“A kidney transplant specialist and professor at Brown University’s medical school has been deported from the United States, even though she had a valid visa and a court order temporarily blocking her expulsion, according to her lawyer and court papers.”

The obvious answer is to reform the immigration system to make it easier for foreigners to enter the country to work legally while paying taxes and making sure they aren't committing crimes. Would be pretty easy to implement a system where they have to check in regularly to show they are working or looking for work and staying out of trouble. But of course that's not plausible, because it's about racism and hatred for brown people who speak Spanish, period.

There’s a video on Bluesky, maybe someone knows how to embed it here, of the Tufts student being picked up on the street by plainclothes Gestapo-esque fuckwads. Her lawyer doesn’t know where she is. Her crime was supposedly an editorial the regime didn’t like.

Everyone In this country is protected by the first amendment, or no one is. Bootlicking Republicans can suck all the ass they want. Eventually, hell will claim them, too.

American gestapo

Men in plainclothes, one in a balaclava, raided the Charlottesville courthouse today. They abducted a local painter whose case (allegedly fighting with his roommate) was being dismissed, and another who was there paying fines. They took them away in unmarked vans. https://dailyprogress.com/news/local/crime-courts/article_9ce921d6-5f61-4546-b0c9-ea2287d8bf16.html?utm_campaign=blox&utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0BMQABHkBbK87Vufn07HP6oXQhXJyrcUNJmBoumFi5OAvdFRMpjUUJQj6fpINbA-YW_aem_bftvxim3miFxAT_79Uzp2A

As long as you say that you are trying to rid the country of dangerous gang members, you can arrest anyone and everyone. That’s why they said that the very first day.

Problem: those countries will follow our lead, and not be particularly receptive to people coming from "shithole countries."  Such as the US.

Last night I sat in some training for a rapid response team. Basically the organization has a number for folks in the community to call should they see a raid/conflict going on. Then a team member is sent to confirm (lots of false calls due to general fear.). If confirmed, a rapid response team is sent out to document the arrest(s). Basically trying to document where ICE is breaking the law. We can’t interfere at all and need to step back when the cops say they need space.

This may get interesting. I think I should be able to stay out of jail, but I imagine I’ll need to bail out my wife at some point.

dumb question, if things happen, what about calling 911 to get local cops on the scene to muddle everything up?

A couple of things: 1) it is important to do everything by the book. Not only would it impact me, it would hurt the organization to step over the line by making a false report;2) it’s pretty rare that the problem is too few cops. All you need is one Rambo for shit to get shittier.

Lots of people I know that were furious about kids having to wear masks are real quiet about a two year old citizen being wrongfully deported

If the Cuban community won’t protest this than they have really destroyed Republican opposition. I understand they somehow were able to convince themselves that Biden was Castro because he wanted to tax the rich but this shouldn’t happen. This has always been a community that rallies when their own is harmed. This is the complete destruction of principles for the sake of saving a few bucks.
