It is rather astounding that actually somewhat accomplished men like Scott Bessent and Howard Lutnick can be such fucking toadies.

The Elmos and Bannons and Millers are no real surprise, and the accomplished men of Trump v.1 pretty much are all on record that he's an abject moron and unfit for office.

I think this tells you something about billionaires.

Whoa, this is hard to believe...@@

Quote

Swiss prosecutors have been urged to open a criminal bribery investigation into executives including the boss of Rolex after they lavished gifts on Donald Trump while lobbying him to cut tariffs.

In Switzerland, a group of Left-wing politicians have written to the country’s federal prosecutor’s office about a meeting in the Oval Office on Nov 4.

At the meeting, up to half a dozen Swiss businesspeople gave the US president a Rolex table clock and a 1kg gold bar engraved with his name.

A week after the meeting, Mr Trump announced he would lower his punitive US tariff rate on Switzerland from 39pc to the EU level of 15pc.

Raphaël Mahaim, a Green Party MP, said in his letter to prosecutors that the gifts could be worth tens of thousands of Swiss francs, which would “exceed the scope of a minor benefit, in accordance with social custom”.

“The average person rightly questions the legality of these gifts offered to the American president in order to obtain his unblocking of a trade negotiation file,” Mr Mahaim’s letter said.

“We question the compatibility of these gifts with Article 322 of the Swiss Penal Code. The end does not justify all means, especially when respect for important provisions of our legal system is at stake.”

Propose something that obviously would cause issues

Get morons to vote for you to implement such a proposal

Issues happen

Use taxpayer money to "fix" the issue (it won't, corporate ag farms will just get 99.9% of the money and more mom and pop farms will close, but Fox News will tell them they are saved)

Run on having fixed the issue and get the morons to vote for you again

Can someone please point out to him that without the tariffs, the bailout wouldn't be necessary?

We paid for the tariffs so we paid for the bailout. How are we cutting down the debt again ???

There’s money that China could have been paying our farmers for their product.
The president decided that was bad.
Instead, we should just GIVE farmers money that comes from the pockets of the hardest working taxpaying Americans. Not nearly enough to replace the actual lost revenue from China, but enough to put us further in the hole.

So socialism ?

No. At least in socialism, we’d get some soybeans in exchange for our $12 billion.
This is just “shootourselvesinthedickism.”

And the tariff dish is just that much more tasty when you allow TFG to do a line item on veto on the taxes that Congress had nothing to do with in the first place.

Oh. Senor Trump. We were beyond screwed the day that your wretched infant self squirted out of your mother's horror show of a vagina. We won't be anywhere close to fixing this until you choke out your last breath.

So, get on that, pronto, will ya?

What’s all this recent food inflation nonsense news today? I have been told by a Wharton business graduate recently that there is “almost no inflation.”

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Almost $10T (and counting) of that debt has been incurred during his five years in office.

We had a client announce that many of the projects they were set to start this year have been pushed 1-3 years due to tariffs and they are having to let go some of the contract workers we supply to support their operations.

The client? Koch Energy Services

I guess that's irony?

Whatever, buncha RINO libtards.

Seriously, I'm posting that unironically. That is 100% how the regime will label them.

Because this is another ironclad rule of this era: the leopards will get around to eating everyone's face, eventually. Yes, including yours. It's their nature. They can't help it.

You were instrumental in creating this beast. Because your greed knows no bounds. You achieved fabulous wealth, and you lied to yourself and convinced yourself that it was due entirely to your genius, and clever gamesmanship. And you forgot the fact that it all depended on and grew from the foundation of a functioning, prosperous Republic. In your greed, you have killed the goose that laid the golden egg. And we all told you that's what you were doing, but your greed was matched by your enormous hubris. And here we are. Utterly Fucked, on a runaway train to Unimaginably Fucked. And you shoveled all the coal you could into the locomotive's boiler to get us here.

I just heard the echo of a dozen fmr CR posters from the old site state, in unison, "You didn't build that," to mock another fmr president, who was fucking 100% right all along.

He was always right. I thought Barack was a mid president, but when he caught flack for that, it was so fucking stupid. We stand on the shoulders of the people who came before and what they built. I say as I type this on an internet built by our society and government, and get ready to get on a highway built by same, etc., all as part of my successful business activity.
