This is a big game in terms of guiding the final tide of the regular season for Texas. Not a game we want to lose (as it pertains to our tournament/seeding hopes). I really hope Texas either firmly makes the tournament -or- there’s no ambiguity and we miss by a lot. The former will help with program buy in, RT’s support, and recruiting. The latter might usher in a new era, which should garner the same positive consequences.

SHedrick gets posterized and then they show Stromile Swift and I’m having flashbacks of him posterizing Mihm

(My god how was that 25 years ago…)

Not a great start

Pope and Larry are just average guards and they are streaky.  It is up to Johnson, Kaluma, Mark to carry this team.  We will go as far as those 3 take us.

Someone needs to explain to Jordan Pope that he is at best this team's 3rd option. Pass the fucking ball dude.

It's kind of shocking to see an offense more disjointed than ours

A “real” point guard on the last break waits and allows Kent to fill that left lane to create the 3 on 2 and some semblance of a good look

Kaluma got hacked hard.  LSU is getting away with a ton of shit.

nice game from Shedrick so far.

He's a very serviceable starting 5. He just needs to stay out of foul trouble.

Yeah.  I'm telling myself not to be a bitch up 8 on the road, but it's so sloppy.

LSU is awful.  we should be up 10+ easy but we are fucking around

This team is allergic to scoring with any sense of a team rhythm.

Need to step on this teams throat.  Up the physicality at least.

67 in the NET rankings (we're 31).

Sweet.  We did hit the rim once in our first three shots a foot from the basket.

Edit:  Make that 1 rim in 4 shots.

Good grief this is awful

We're playing a bad team...and yet, barely winning a game we probably should lead by at least 15. I don't think we'll lose, but the mere fact it's not out of the question is an indictment of the staff.

LSU turns the ball over a lot and is worse on the boards than Texas, a deadly combination.
