May 3May 3 Here’s the next question I have…..how strict are they on the 14x14x14 cooler rule? I’ve found a few that are close but may exceed the height limit by a few inches. I don’t want to lug a cooler around so I am specifically looking at backpack coolers. Here’s the one I am looking at purchasing. https://www.academy.com/p/igloo-marine-30-can-backpackAny recommendations are appreciate.

Haven't been to TMS, but at plenty of other tracks, the general rule is "don't bring something that is undeniably gigantic and conspicuous." If it's not going to be large enough to inconvenience people seated near you, you should be fine. It's hard to tell exactly how big that thing is (awesome how Academy doesn't list the dimensions, not like that's ever important with coolers...) but I would give it a shot. If you get turned away, go to another gate or two until you find the guy who doesn't give a shit. Just in case you fully strike out, I would also leave a smaller cooler in the car. Worst case scenario, you have to go back to the car and return with a few fewer beers.

This might be the best weather day for a NASCAR race in TMS history. Wish I was there.
May 5May 5 Cannot wait to read your review of the whole experience. This might be the best weather day for a NASCAR race in TMS history. Wish I was there. I enjoyed the experience. The 100 year old vet that sang the National Anthem was awesome. You could hear the pride in that man’s voice. I went in knowing nothing of the sport and left disappointed. Disappointed because as the race wore on I noticed the 45 car was kind of lingering around. He was in a good spot. I thought he was gonna make a push for a top 2 or 3 finish if not winning the damn thing outright. And then with less than 30 laps to go he got spun out by some limp dick who apparently took driving lessons at the Anne Frank School for the Blind. The fact that he was sitting fourth, got clipped, and finished 23rd was insane to me. All because some driver couldn’t handle his shit. I was absolutely gobsmacked by the number of cars that came into the pit that looked like they were done (broken axle, body damaged beyond repair, etc) but the crew would get it all back together and the car would leave the pit looking like nothing happened. The facilities at the track itself reminded me of a high school football game. A lot of basic food choices. No real fan interactivity. Feels like some modernization is due.
May 5May 5 I tried to embed some video I took but Tapa won’t let me. It was a really great experience. I’d do it again. Exiting the parking lot was a beating though. Fort Worth’s finest had the south 35 access roads closed. Which meant I had to drive north and loop back around in to 35 south. But all in all it was an enjoyable experience. Thinking about renting a camper next year and posting up in the infield…..

I think I have been to TMS about 8 or 9 times and never opened my wallet once. I am not an eater at sporting events or movies for that matter. I can eat before I go (rarely because it fucks up my drinking) , or after.
May 7May 7 Author Full Speed Season 2 dropped on Netflix. If you haven't checked this out before I recommend it.

May 17May 17 Cars tour at north wilk on fs1 right now. They'll probably put on a better race than cup series

May 26May 26 Where in the ever loving fuck is the NASCAR race. Not on NBC and will not come up on Prime.
May 26May 26 Unbelievable NBC takes over NASCAR and I cannot find the race anywhere with YouTube TV NBC channel is showing a golf replay and Prime will not load it either. Way to get viewers morons.
May 26May 26 Author Larson completes the double....wrecks out in both races lol Where in the ever loving fuck is the NASCAR race. Not on NBC and will not come up on Prime. Its on Prime. I have been watching the whole thing [emoji2369]
May 26May 26 I can watch anything else on Prime but when I choose the race it will not load and after a few minutes it tells me the HDMI cable is an issue. Everything else on Prime works fine. This really pisses me off.
May 26May 26 Author Built the car til 1:30am then came back in at 5:30amI am gonna bet he is gonna fail post race inspection.Lmao

May 26May 26 I just tried to watch the replay on Prime and it was useless trying to fast forward to the start of the race. No little thumbnail comes up when FF'ing so I just had to guess where to stop it, and after 5-6 different guesses where each time I stopped, it was either still showing pre-race crap or a commercial, I just gave up. I'm not about to fight with all that for a 600 mile race. I often have to watch races on DVR a day or two (or more) later due to other commitments, but I probably won't bother with anything but watching live during the Prime portion of the broadcast schedule. NASCAR sure is good at shooting itself in the foot. Fucking morons running the show. Disappointing.

All is good, unless you are KL.
May 26May 26 Earnhardt doc dropped on Prime....well 2 of the 4 episodes. Good shit Just watched first episode.I’m about to go on a walk wearing my straw hat with feathers while smoking a cigar. I need a wrangler yellow shirt.

May 30May 30 Great doc by Jr and Kelley. Dove into who Sr was and impact being his kids played in thier life. At end of day it's a son and daughter striving for thier father's love and appreciation. Still can't stand the widow.

Had to be painful for them, but at the same time cathartic.
May 31May 31 It seemed like a way to tell thier story on who sr was to them as dad. For as great of a driver he was, there was the family impact he sacrificed in order to be great. Can't imagine what it was like for his kids growing up in his shadow but also feeling like in the back of the line for what mattered to sr in his life. It seemed as jr/Kelley got older they realized why sr was the dad he was.

I doubt it will change any minds either - if you hated him before, you hate him the same or more, and if you liked him, you have a better understanding of who he is. I watched the doc on ESPN however many years ago, and this is far and away a lot better. And ESPN's 30-for-30 on Tim Richmond was actually decent and didn't whitewash things.
June 1Jun 1 [@Jeff_Gluck] Officials suspected AJ Allmendinger's team made unapproved adjustments to the car on pit road. NASCAR pulled it from pit road and found indeed the team had done that. The team was then required to fix it. They will be allowed to qualify, but more penalties could be issued later. ---
June 17Jun 17 Never been a Ricky stenhouse fan , but for him to complain about another driver wrecking him then play tough guy role. Dude is crap as a driver.
July 29Jul 29 Author Definitely the best race of his career. Qualified well, good stops, good fuel mileage strategy, good driving, didn't get collected in any bullshit wrecks all day, held off everyone's loverboy Larson to take it. I think he would have eventually overtaken Logano, but it also helped he blew tire or whatever as well.
July 29Jul 29 Very entertaining race as was the Xfinity race the day before. Really glad to see Bubba win but I was holding my breath on that last lap. Evidently he had enough fuel to do a nice burnout as well.
