July 29Jul 29 Author Freddy said it ran out when they backed it on the platform to be raised onto Victory Lane
August 9Aug 9 Connor Zilisch slipped while exiting his car in victory lane and his foot appeared to get caught in the window netting, causing him to land awkwardly on the side of his head. He didn't appear to be conscious immediately after impact. It looked really sickening, and TV eventually cut away to commercial. Upon return, the announcers said he had spoken to medical staff, and was being carried via backboard/stretcher to the care center. Scary shit for anyone, but especially frightening for someone with so much raw talent and potential.
August 9Aug 9 I saw the video, that was nasty. He is lucky he didn't break his neck or break a hip or blowout his knee. Concussion at minimum I would think. They said he was sitting up and talking in the care center.
August 10Aug 10 Sure there may have been a few drivers celebrating that. Know he has pissed off some people. The kid has ton of talent . Reminds me of a young kyle busch

Reminds me of a young kyle busch Funny, while searching for news updates on Zilisch, I found an article saying that Zilisch is the only driver KyBu ever congratulates for winning. When asked why, KyBu said it's because he likes Connor.
August 17Aug 17 Yeah, those teeth are pretty comical. Fuck Austin Dillon in the goatass. Edited August 17Aug 17 by Prepuce of Doom
August 24Aug 24 Under the lights tonight at Daytona, the first big one just happened in the first stage.
August 24Aug 24 Custer drove the heck out of that car. Congrats to Blaney. Hoping for preece or yaley to pull off a surprise win. We were at a local dirt track watching racing. Off topic question but anybody know of place that does demolition derby?

August 25Aug 25 Author So pretty much the only guy (Zilisch) who can compete with SVG on road courses is now going to be his teammate next season at Trackhouse. meh. I was hoping Zilisch would wind up elsewhere but really no where for him to go with Chevy unless PopPop would have made some changes.
September 1Sep 1 NBC broadcast crews sucks. Try to hype up a race. He is at his bumper. Meanwhile graphic shows he is 100' behind
November 2Nov 2 Hamlin should have taken 2 tires. Bet he will claim Byron took a dive to bring out caution
November 2Nov 2 That was Hamlin best chance at a title. Had the best car all day. 3 second lead with less than 7 to go.
November 2Nov 2 Author Yeah i wanted him to win it for his dad. Sucks he dominated and then snakebit once again
November 4Nov 4 Didn't agree with 4 tires either. Track is to short to move up 6 spots on 2 laps thru that much traffic. It'll be a interesting off season for nascar. Schedule change, point system change, and horsepower changes.

December 18Dec 18 Plane owned by Greg Biffle (an avid pilot...) crashed and burned this morning with Greg, his wife, and children on board. Doesn't look good. https://www.jayski.com/2025/12/18/plane-crash-in-statesville-north-carolina-involving-plane-owned-by-greg-biffle/

We are devastated. I’m so sorry to share this.” Local authorities confirmed casualties but provided no additional details. Edited December 18Dec 18 by wood
December 18Dec 18 I've lost interest in NASCAR for some reason, but Biffle always seemed like a good guy.
December 19Dec 19 Yea he had done a lot to help flood victims this year in that area of country. He never seemed like a bad dude. Feel for his and wife's families and others who were lost in crash

I mostly lost interest many years ago, but still kind of kept up with a few people. Biffle definitely seemed like a good guy, and he would poke fun at himself. Not a lot of the egos in NASCAR will do that.
Friday at 03:32 PM5 days It’s a nice jet. Appears Biffle was an experienced pilot. Tragic that whole family was onboard.
