Agreed. He could have allowed guys to take a night off against Oakland or Arlington, or waited until we got past the toughest stretch of the season.

No shit. We’re barely a third of the way through the season. No reason whatsoever to rest our best guys right now.

Pomeranz was a great pitcher from 2015-2017.  Even with his shitty start this year, the projections have him at around a 4.3 ERA.

I think we all knew Marwin would regress this season, but man he’s been bad.

He's awful against lefties. At some point would he make sense for him to bat left handed all the time? Hard to see how he would be any worse.

Actually, He has a higher average from the right side.

Yeah, but everything else is significantly lower:

i feel like in the past he was a better avg hitter as a righty but all his power came lefty.

he's perfectly fine for a utility infielder, but shouldn't be in the lineup on a daily basis.

You can’t make judgements about a platoon in a sample that small.

Though there is more than enough evidence to suggest Marwin is an average to below average MLB offensive player.

He is playing to much as is Marisnick. They are ok platoon guys, but the warts start showing with more games.

More questionable coaching from Hinch this year. I bet I didn't have more than a half dozen complaints on Hinch last year. I've had more than that this week.

That’s what the projections say (Marwin being a little below average offensively).

What the crap was doing trying to steal. Lets roll the line up back to the top. Maybe Tim F gets a hold of one.

That Pedro Guerrero story from Blum was great.  "Don't hit it to Steve Sax."

#8978

I'm not able to watch the game right now, but game changer is showing this umpire sucks. His strike zone is all over the place. Hope his kids aren't watching.

#8980

I'll preemptively say I like leaving Harris in after he had an easy, low pitch inning.  The rest of you can blame Hinch's mismanagement if it doesn't work out.

#8983

good job harris.

if rondon can get out of this, we better bring giles in for the 9th (assuming a 2-3 run lead).  nothing else makes sense.

Marwin should play every 5 games. Jake should play every game in corpus christi.

Let stassi, kemp and davis get thier at bats

After the Correa base hit to drive in two, does Giles still come in for the 9th?

Keep Rondon in.
