I don't think it's out of the ordinary for a derby contestant to prefer the ball in a particular spot to attach a short fence, sell out on a pull heavy swing, etc.

Two Diamond Club tickets available for the Sunday night game.  Free.  Need to pick them up from me in 77027. Rules: Poster must be a big contributor to this thread/last years shag thread.  No gue

I'll be back in a few hours for the game, but it's never too early to say: fuck Arlington, fuck the Rangers, and fuck their douchebag fans.  Beat that ass.  Again.

It's not, but when I looked up his heat map after, he's definitely someone you can pitch to.

advanced analytics and the shift kills a guy like harper, especially in an nl lineup where he's really the only "dangerous" batter (while murphy struggles, etc).  i guarantee you before a weekend series, every pitcher in the other clubhouse knows exactly what the bryce plan is, has discussed it, and has seen video on what to do.  if he played in the 70's, he could've been an all time great.

maybe wherever he goes next will help him make some adjustments.

That is a near AAAA lineup.

I’m glad we’re playing against a near AA lineup.

Think if Bukauskas doesn't K at least a half-dozen Burlington Bees tonight we should ship his ass off as part of a Harper deal.

With the shape the Rangers staff is in ...and missing Hanels because of the trade...I’d predict the Astros drop half a hundred this weekend if Correa and Tuve were in the lineup.
Our AAAA lineup may still score 4 TDs.

Needless to say, anything less than a sweep would be a huge disappointment

Taking the under and we won't

I'd settle for 7+ runs and a W in all three games.  Really should be doable.

Taking the under and we won't

Probably, but 28 feels about the right o/u.
They are giving up 9.4 rpg since the break... and that includes a game they actually shutout Cleveland.

i forgot my mom has the jeff hines seats tonight.  nothing says, "call your mother" more than having to see her the entire game.

At the game tonight and disappointed no Altuve. Hope he recovers quickly.

God dammit.  This frame should be over and they have the bases loaded with one out.

Wow.  The Rangers are having a "Vladimir Guerrero Hall of Fame Bobblehead giveaway."

You know you're a shit franchise when you have to memorialize a one-year rental.

Or no one wants to come to your oven of a ballpark in the summer and your one year HOF rental has more promotion appeal than anyone on the current roster

did that chevy guy just say veterans were un-remarkable?  it was like he couldn't decide which word to use.

Thanks player, owe you a beer next happy hour

He also said the veteran was thinking about getting the ball over first plate and then they surprised him with the car.  It seemed like the chevy guy was really nervous and also didn't know shit about baseball.

You are one reactionary SOB. 2nd in BA, 4 in runs scored, 5th in OPS. We’re fine.

Are you the same statistics expert that said not to worry about Giles because he is 12/12 on saves? Someone said it earlier. I can see it with my own eyes when I watch the games - Giles sucks. The same goes with the offense - the offense is not fine.

Not much management can do about it other than hope the guys hit like they are capable of.

I’m ready for the offense to get out of this slump. Any time now....

They need MLB caliber bats. Gattis, Gonzalez, Davis, and Kemp need to be replaced.

The options are limited. What do you suggest?

Altuve and Correa need rub their pussies together to heal faster.

If our lead off hitter, Springer, could get his batting average above .250 that would be great

LOL at the Rangers thread actually getting some posts tonight.  Buncha fair-weather die-hards.

Get Beltran back on the bench. We need some mojo.

We need Correa and Altuve to be playing. That would help.

Springer, Altuve, Gonzalez, McCann, and Reddick are all worse than last year to varying degrees. Gurriel is slightly worse.

Bregman is better.

Correa is hurt again.
