Two Diamond Club tickets available for the Sunday night game.  Free.  Need to pick them up from me in 77027. Rules: Poster must be a big contributor to this thread/last years shag thread.  No gue

I’d love to be proven wrong but Jake is what he is. A career .220 hitter.

I just don’t see him breaking out like I’m sure the Astros want him to. His role should be a late defensive sub when needed and pinch runner. And that’s it.

Hard for Hinch to say this was anything but loss of faith.

He'll say in the Post game that it was because they were sending up two lefties, but real recognize real

Longhorns and Astros scored their respective game winning runs within about 90 seconds of each other. That was fun

Was Reddick involved again?  I'm picturing something like this in Astros navy and orangewlflair7.jpg?quality=95

Gotta feel for GC in his last two starts.

yeah, must suck to pitch for the favorites to win it all and be in line to start the all-star game.

pitchers care about wins way less than you think, especially when the team is winning.

The Angels look pretty damn stout so far. Ohtani might be the real deal and Trout is Trout. Going to be a fun race.

Didn’t say he cared one way or the other. But I would think it would be nice to pitch as well as he has and get the W. Even Hinch said so in the post game. It’s a team game and the W for the team is most important. But he will probably give up 5 or 6 in a start and the offense will score 7 or 8 and it evens out. Sometimes.  Nolan Ryan may beg to differ.

I just don't see their staff holding up for 162, at least not like ours will.

I want the A's to be excellent. We take the West, Boston takes the east, and the A's beat the friggin Yankees in the wild card game.

Gerrit Cole just struck out 12 more hitters overnight

I'd rather see Gonzalez at DH and Fisher in LF. I hope I'm wrong, but Gattis just looks like a guy who has had his lick. He's a hole in the lineup.

yuli back in the 5 hole really completes the lineup.  marwin at 5 makes me nervous unless he's in mid hot streak and facing a shitty righty.

Disagree

I love today’s lineup. feel this is our best we can send out out there right now.

Agree with the comment above about Yuli.

Gattis will have a big hit today

Customer just called and said they cannot make the game. My pair in 131 is available and free. PM if interested.

I’d have been all over that an hour ago. Already out and about now. Hopefully someone puts those to use today.

Great job by Springer on that Belre hit, saved a run and kept Beltre to 1st.

Same size as AJ Reed, that's convenient
