Absolutely no sympathy for that dirtbag. I lived near the coast for 12 years. Never, ever put out in a small craft if there is the slightest potential for extreme weather, and I’m absolutely sure a cursory check of the morning’s weather would’ve told them that. 

Freaking idiot. Obviously put himself and his friend at risk. And any CG or other resources that would’ve been needed if they’d have been tossed. Without life jackets. 

And unforgivable that you took your dog into that.
