Or does the company provide Monster energy drinks, meth and cocaine in the break room?
September 19Sep 19 Compressed shift rocks, 3 or 4 12hr day work weeks with 3 or 4 days off. Very popular in the Semiconductor Industry as that’s a 24/7, 365 days operation. I miss it.

Monster, not meth.

October 2Oct 2 Sleeping with the windows open. Overnight lows in the high 50s. Knocked out uninterrupted sleep.

My wife an I are on different sleep schedules. She typically gets up before 5 AM, and get up around 7:30 or later. Also, she likes the bedroom much hotter than I. So most of the time, I'll just fall asleep on the living room couch that's only a few feet from the patio door. Couple of years ago, wife wakes me up to see if I'm okay. And I'm dead ass asleep and tell I'm great best sleep I've gotten in awhile. She was like "Good. Because you left the patio door open, and now there is actual snow in the god damn living room for you to clean up." It snowed like 2" and I didn't even notice. It was glorious Edited October 2Oct 2 by Jameslaw121

October 3Oct 3 Tore down an old sprinkler that wasn't working. Cleaned it up and added some silicone grease on the moving parts. One of those chick-chick-chick-chick-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch.... Drank a beer as I watched get back out there on the lawn and get to work. A fine moment for both of us.

October 4Oct 4 Very few kids at my kid’s BJJ studio today so you can hear what they’re saying to each other. My kid and his sparring partner were talking about boba teas and which flavor they like. Apparently the other boy likes matcha. Other conversation was a boy offering his partner $1M if he lets go of his neck, and the other kid saying “No because I don’t think you have a a million dollars.” Edited October 5Oct 5 by Superhero

When we needed to get our AC replaced I bought a window unit for the living room. After we replaced the AC I left it installed since it's kinda behind the couch so not really an eye sore Figured out the air flow so that if I have one of the couches seats reclined and the window unit on, it hits me right in the face all night.

October 17Oct 17 I just watched three people make it all the way to the PreCheck agent, only to get sent back because they weren’t TSA PreCheck.
October 24Oct 24 Paying my home owner insurance using my CC without 3% "service" charge. I pay off my CC every month so it's nice to get $30 worth of points to go towards flights and vacations.

All of cards except for one have some sort of reward, but I can pretty much pay them off every week. I also use the upside app for gas. Probably not really worth it for most people, but as much as I drive for work I wind up getting $7-8 back a week. Cash it out about once every 3 months and its a decent night out for me and the wife. Or a bottle of good whiskey

November 2Nov 2 Making what was supposed to be a 49 minute connection after a delay at originating airport. Said I had 7min to make it from B to D at DFW. Not terrible, but not great, Bob! walked up at first 'final boarding call,' cruise right on, and perfect space for carryon. Relieved, but also pleased at minimal time spent sitting around airport.
November 2Nov 2 Had to clean out our closet so we could finally get the full closet re-do that the wife has wanted. In the back of my T-shirt cabinet, found this gem, that had gotten shoved to the back and forgotten after being worn maybe once:It’s at the front of the new cabinet, and is in the rotation now.

November 25Nov 25 We're prepping our house for a sale and fixing all of the little bugs so that it presents perfectly. Things like sagging door / sticky door frames, recaulking some tiles and such. Knocked it all out of the way over the last weekend and it was so goddamn easy and fast I just kinda wonder why I was so lazy to tackle it earlier when we were using the goddamn house.

November 25Nov 25 Added one more monitor to my office setup. Yes I actually use all 4 and still think it’s not enough. For the house, I ordered a new docking station so can have the same setup. I don’t work from home all that much, but when I do, I need all the screen real estate I can get.
