Not really trivial, but this is as good a place to drop it as any:   My son has a SATB2 gene mutation which has left him with a severe speech delay.  He didn't say "Mama" until he was 7 (he'

This is absolutely true.

10” deep, stainless steel, single bowl kitchen sink with a wire rack.

This is after 6 years of hating with a passion the 6” deep porcelain double bowl sink.

It’s like like switching from a transistor radio to a 100” OLED TV. Or maybe not, but I love it.

Really bubbly tonic water.  That may not really qualify as trivial though.

Love that shit. The son turned me on to it on a visit to San Antonio a couple years back.

Safeties gruntle me, mostly because of the way the defensive lineman try to signal "safety" and celebrate at the same time.

The crackle of a fire. Also, one-wipe shits.

If you have a bidet, they are all one-wipe shits.

Adding to the Christmas list.  Do you have a recommendation?

Luxe Neo 185 is what I have.  There is a bidet thread here someplace if you want to do some research.

Edit: Here is the Bidet thread

Just started doing this, my ass and colon are counting on you being right.

Yesterday, did the dishes. Exactly enough to perfectly fill up the dishwasher while leaving no dishes in the sink.

Every year, my son and his wife host/mentor 1 or 2 football players from the local Community College. The kids get to eat home-cooked meals, study without the disruptions of a dorm and basically have a home away from home. Today, this years young man found out that he is a 2nd Team All-American.

How does this NIL thingy work?

Watching my 6 year old, second day on skis, absolutely tearing down the mountain.

He needs to learn how to ski back and forth to slow down. But he is a fearless speed demon, going down easy blues, and complaining that dad is too slow.

Why in the everloving hell would you go pay $15 for popcorn that will be cold when you get home, when you can make better popcorn at home for 23 cents?!?

It was $7.00 mofo, and there’s just something about not messing shut up at my house.

If making popcorn at your house messes shit up that bad, I’m pretty sure you’re doing it wrong

Driving by the theater on my way home and picking up a large popcorn wastes nothing at my ol house other than a paper towel or 4.

I was able to scrape off an ugly-ass company logo from an otherwise nice YETI bottle.

When I first got it, I was ready to donate it. But with some rubbing alcohol and scraping at it with a credit card, I've got a bottle that I don't mind carrying around.

Can't blame you, I wouldn't carry it around either.

My grandfather had a custom pair of Tony Lamas from about 1950. My grandmother gave them to my cousins dipshit husband. They get divorced. She doesn’t get them back. Grandmother is distraught that they aren’t in the family, and she passes away.  Randomly run into cousin’s ex and ask if he still had them and I’d buy them from him. Still had them and gave them back to me for free. So he’s not a dipshit in my mind anymore and i have some pretty sweet custom Tony Lamas. Grandmother would very pleased.

Wife brought back 2 dozen farm fresh eggs from CO.  If the eggs taste as good as the shells are beautiful then I am in for some great brefisses at deer camp this weekend.
