Yes I actually use all 4 and still think it’s not enough.

For the house, I ordered a new docking station so can have the same setup. I don’t work from home all that much, but when I do, I need all the screen real estate I can get.

Just order one giant monitor and use MS Power Tools to arrange the real estate.

I checked with IT and they didn't have any more curved monitors. And since we're already in the red on our G&A expenses, I didn't want to charge any more. Maybe I'll switch it up next year.

What you really need is a Merrimack

That happened with me about 40 years ago but with golf after reading Jack Nicklaus' book "Golf My Way."  I have been able to hit long and straight ever since.

I had that video in the 70’s. It was my bible for learning how to swing a golf club. I never had the money to have enough lessons to learn the golf swing properly so that was the best I could afford.

Interestingly, that video was missing some critical bits of information about the swing that I never learned over the next 50 years. Finally 10 months ago I embarked on the journey to truly learn the right golf swing. I’m still not there, but I’m getting closer. That video started it all.

We're prepping our house for a sale and fixing all of the little bugs so that it presents perfectly. Things like sagging door / sticky door frames, recaulking some tiles and such.

Knocked it all out of the way over the last weekend and it was so goddamn easy and fast I just kinda wonder why I was so lazy to tackle it earlier when we were using the goddamn house.

We just knocked our list before my knee surgery.  Cold front passed through, and our Cypress tree takes a lightning strike.  Now, I have a tree that needs some attention.  Oh, but wait!  As if that isn't enough, the collateral damage includes blower motor in the air handler, robot vac, fried a GFCI, and a Kuerig.  We replaced the coffee pot immediately.  Priorities first.  It has all been repaired or replaced, but the F'n tree.

maybe buy some lotto tickets on behalf of the tree

^^^ Might cut down the tree and turn it into a table.

We flew a drone over the haus and saw nothing invasive or damaged.  The AC guy and I eventually noticed the tree didn't have a pointy top in it and some bark blown off.  Best guess is the strike traveled underground to our ground rod at the main breaker box and back fed the box.  Thus, making for all the weirdness in the haus.  As I've heard before electricity does some strange shit sometimes.

Drinking left over beer in the office fridge because we need to make room for new beer that's been brought in for our holiday party.

It's 4:53 and I'm already 2 bottles in.

I'm pretty sure if we allowed beer on-premise, there would be no leftovers.

We had our office party last Friday. The office manager asked me how much booze to get for 65 adults. I figured 2.5 drinks per person, so 12 bottles of wine and maybe 6 cases of beer/seltzers.

She ended up getting 18 bottles of wine, 10 cases of beer and a few bottles of whisky. There were only about 25 people... So unfortunately I'll have to take a case or 2 home with me. Merry Christmas.

We got a robot vacuum/mop during Black Friday week.

It's a MASSIVE upgrade in terms of me not having to vacuum and using a vacuum wet mop. This thing also has cameras and sensors, so it's actually navigating between chair legs instead of randomly bumping around and getting stuck under the dining table.

I have it programmed to clean the entire downstairs 2x a week, and mopping the kitchen another 2 days during the week.

MOVA P10 Pro+ Ultra Robot Vacuum and mop Combo Cleaner, Self-Emptying, Self Drying&Cleaning, Dual Spinnig Mop

I like to sleep in the cold.  Set back thermostat goes to 60 at 9:30 pm, then to 68 at 5:30 am.  The sound of the furnace and growing warmth is the best alarm clock there is.

The 15yo has taken over Elf on the Shelf duties (willingly) for the 6yo. One less annoyance for me.
