August 25, 20187 yr This thread explains a lot. I like my Tartini tones at Baroque pitch, my Greek music theory in Boethius' words, and my A2 surrounded by lots of other notes.
August 26, 20187 yr Probably not the same thing, but for many years my “focus music” has been the Hong Kong album by Monolake. It’s on Spotify. Good for occupying the part of my brain that’s easily distracted so I can focus.
August 27, 20187 yr Music can be good for the first thirty minutes/hour but after that it's a distraction. Once everything gets quiet and your ass gets numb just focus on your breath.
August 27, 20187 yr I was thinking about starting a new thread about the music of Steven Halpern, but I figured it might fit into this thread. I obsess over lots of music that only really appeals to people who have literally listened to everything already, and the stuff people follow gets pretty far out. If you do a search for Private Issue New Age or PINA you will see some of it. Anyway, behold the glory of Steven Halpern: I will post some of his crystal healing music videos later
