Their lineup is the biggest problem. This is what they've done against power conference pitching so far.

Alabama (2 runs)

Alabama (4 runs)

Oklahoma State (0 runs)

Arizona (2 runs)

Their lineup is dogshit.

That's kind of weird isn't it? Earley was their hitting coach. One would think this would be the one area they could maintain.

Aggie fans react to Texas A&M's 6-2 loss to No. 17 Alabama in Game 2 of series

The wheels have begun to loosen in Aggieland as Texas A&M (10-8, 0-2 SEC) dropped its opening conference series to No.17 Alabama (18-1, 2-0 SEC) after a 6-2 loss on Saturday afternoon.

After another disappointing performance at Blue Bell Park, the Aggies struggle with consistency. Despite a strong outing from their starting pitcher, any momentum fell short due to poor offensive production and costly defensive errors late in the game.

After several error-free games, they regressed, committing three crucial mistakes that sealed their fate. A&M's offense didn’t fare much better, managing only four hits and two runs.

The lack of momentum frustrates fans who see glimpses of this team’s potential but are left disappointed by repeated failures to string together consistent performances. Criticism of the coaching decisions, particularly by head coach Michael Earley, is growing louder as fans' patience wears thin. The Aggies need significant improvement in hitting, defense, and strategic decision-making to turn their season around.

Below are some of the best reactions from Aggie fans and the media after the series loss on Saturday.

A&M drops first conference series of the season

Bad baseball is too commonplace for the Aggies

Embarrassing might be an understatement

Being a Texas A&M sports fan can be rough at times

A&M will surely drop out of the Top 25 in the newest rankings

TAMU baseball might set the wrong type of record this year

The starting rotation needs help and the only thing worth watching to this point

I'm not sure luck has anything to do with it

Is the writing already on the wall?

The Aggies will try to savage the weekend and avoid the sweep

Texas A&M will take on Alabama in Game 3 of the series on Sunday, March 15, at 4:00 p.m. CT. The game will air on the SEC Network.

The Rabble has been roused.

It's still way too early but aggy was at #142 in RPI coming into this weekend.

Only team in a worse position is Missouri.

It’s looking like sweeping aggy at home is going to hurt our RPI

He meant meat judging.

Craig just said this doubleheader will be the cheapshit twin 7-inning games.

That's the reason a Friday doubleheader didn't happen. This helps shit SEC teams that have dumpster-fire bullpens.

Wow Tenn run rules 7 gata. That has to sting.

Why does this hayseed league have a 10 run rule?

Bama with their daily late-inning homer for an insurance run lead aggy 2-0 in the bottom of the 8th.

poooor aggy, 2-0 final

Our buddy Gavin Cash grounds out to end it

At least aggy got to wear their lookatme 'merica jerseys

Dirty’s needs one to put next to their Jimbo plaque.

Should be ranked at least 8 for next weekend's games against lsu. While aggy drops from the rankings.

Aggy being ranking 19th was the most generous top 25 ranking of all time. Voters were embarrassed and had to hold on for one more week.

If they don't advance out of a regional, I put it at a coin flip that Earley gets a second season. If they don't even make a regional (which is now on the table), I don't think he is getting a second season.

I'm already dreaming up a scenario where Earley is fired and Grahovac is a Horn for his final season.

You sips still don't get it

This from texags.

Seriously folks, if this doesn't tear this team apart, nobody wants to play us in May or June.
I hate tu. It's in my blood.

I gotta say adding Gavin Kash to that situation in the offseason was a ticking time bomb. Real high character winner they added

Can they make a regional with a losing record?

If they do it’ll be on the road. Barely above .500 this year, if the season ended now.

Why does aggy insist on wearing alternate “American” red, white, and blue uniforms, especially in March? They are far from being America’s team.
