February 21Feb 21 $30K? I mean, I see why the airline thinks they should take a shot, but that wouldn't cover most a la carte medical bills after a crash like that.

Delta: You have failed our training program and you're fired. But you can keep carrying our passengers... just do it on a jet someone else owns so there's an added layer separating us from the liability. Before I can weigh in knowledgeably, I'll need to know how that approach affects profit margin and whether or not the Delta CEO was able to add that extra wing onto his vacation chalet last year.
February 22Feb 22 Endeavor Air and Delta are correcting disinformation in social media containing false and misleading assertions about the flight crew of Endeavor Air 4819. - Captain: Mesaba Airlines, a progenitor company of Endeavor Air, hired the captain in October 2007. He has served both as an active duty Captain and in pilot training and flight safety capacities. Assertions that he failed training events are false. Assertions that he failed to flow into a pilot position at Delta Air Lines due to training failures are also false. - First Officer: Hired in January 2024 by Endeavor Air and completed training in April. She has been flying for Endeavor since that time. Her flight experience exceeded the minimum requirements set by U.S. Federal regulations. Assertions that she failed training events are false. Both crew members are qualified and FAA certified for their positions.
February 22Feb 22 Thanks for posting that. I deleted my previous post about it. Been reading those rumors for a few days and I figured that had been long enough for the speculation to be proven false. I stand corrected.
