Not sure why they had that quick of a hook with Dre

My feed was so shitty I didn't see much of him.  He didn't seem to be finishing his pitches and looked to be falling glove side.  Did I have an inadequate sample size?  Did he actually look good?

I think that’s just his new motion since they dropped him to 3/4 arm slot.  He looked pretty good.

Gotta think Schlosseneggle is on the hot seat after the last couple of games.

Sitting on a cold ass bench ain't gonna cut it at Texas. Get this man a seat-heater!

Maybe he benefited from the large zone but he was making it look easy prior to Galvan’s E2

Duplantier’s stuff was excellent. I think part of the reason they pulled him was because Brown was at bat who was 2-3 on the day.

Coach wants Mercer to be the closer real bad.  Eventually he will have to get someone out for that to work.

Yeah it’s early, but 4 of these 5 are proven college hitters (with Flores being Elite).  If Farmer is our worst hitter in the lineup at .250, I’m OK with that.

The offense has a ton of room for improvement once these other 4 proven guys get going.  Maybe getting into some warmer weather will help with that.

Galvan is my biggest concern there. He has some pop obviously but I don’t think he’s a great hitter by any means. Always has seemed like a guy that could go through long stretches of strikeouts.

First time baseball fan? No team is getting through a season with their worst hitter being a .250 hitter. Maybe .210 or so.

18, 21, 22 our worst hitter for average was between 240 and 250.

3 of those 5 guys in the screenshot hit over 300 last year  Galvan hit like 280. I think it’s reasonable to expect Farmer to be able to hit 250 or find someone else who can

How do you continually prove yourself to be a moron?

It’s much warmer today.  Time for Texas bats to wake up.

Guess I need to adjust my MLB expectations to the college game some still

Practice.

Bing might be a middle innings guy and not a starter. I thought this dude was good at command? Maybe Grubbs should be our Sunday guy.

Hope Chandler Bing's nephew got that out of his system.

Dartmouth pitcher's HS is about 2 miles from me, so this literally hits close to home.

Yep, here we go again. Down to Fartmouth in the 1st due to an error. Fartmouth should we a warm up to the gauntlet of the SEC. 1 run wins against Fartmouth aren't a fun feeling.

hard times man

So is that a XXXL or XXXXL hoodie behind the plate?

So I went to ESPN+ and tried to turn the game on and it tells me I am not authorized to view the game without telling me how to become authorized. Anybody know?

Damn, bitching about being a one loss team after facing 3 quality teams and we are one pitch away from being an undefeated team, thats crazy.

ESPN+ is pay. If you go to the SEC+ link at texaslonghorns.com and click on the link it give you just about every major provider.  Then click on your provider and log in with you provider credentials and watch.

I know. I am willing to pay, they just don't give any further options or explanation.

Rather poor sales force at ESPN. "You would like to buy this? Well figure it out."

Ah well I will get it worked out.

We have not seen the fastball well all series. Just a ton of weak swings and indecision.

Now did I bitch about the loss? Texas just had 2 one run games against an Ivy League team that went 13-26 last year and is opening their season this weekend. I'm just kinda concerned our team can't do better against Fartmouth.
