February 22Feb 22 That’s not a fucking strike dude. Catcher moves that thing 8 fucking inches. Edited February 22Feb 22 by hobbes2702

They finished seventh in the eight team league last season. Cold shouldn't make that much of a difference, it always cold this time of year usually.

He’s also like 180lbs though so there is limited upside to his bat for a non speed player. And 2nd base is not a premium defensive position. Edited February 22Feb 22 by hobbes2702

February 22Feb 22 Good play Jalin. Not sure why ARod went to the plate side of the bag there. Just now, Hookem2147 said: Welp. I don’t think the pitching change was due to trying to prevent that run. I also don’t think Schloss is worried about 1 run in the 4th inning in February
February 22Feb 22 A balk call before he’s even set? What kinda call is that? How can a front leg flex be a balk before the pitcher comes set? Edited February 22Feb 22 by hobbes2702
February 22Feb 22 I don’t think Dartmouth has hit a ball in play this weekend that went more than 200 feet in the air.

No doubt Schloss is watching pitch count early in the season, especially when cold. He probably wasn’t expecting P to reach the pitch count in 3+ innings. Probably expected the bats to do something, as well. Edited February 22Feb 22 by VirginiaLonghorn

February 22Feb 22 This team strikes out way too much. Hopefully that improve as the season progresses but these SOs right now are wild

February 22Feb 22 New pitcher same result. The Ivy League doesn't have athletic scholarships. I guess the NIL deals are great. Edited February 22Feb 22 by NBHorn7
February 22Feb 22 We have three guys that are on pace or better than Faltine's strikeout record (104) from a couple of years ago.
February 22Feb 22 Not having a lead off hitter (or any hitter) as good as Thomas looks like it might be an issue.
February 22Feb 22 Starts him 0-2, 3 noncompetitive balls, and then gives up the hit when he grooves one 3-2

They don’t have athletic scholarships, but they have more than enough for scholarships that come straight from the schools. $10B+ endowments help with things like that.
