February 22Feb 22 Diane Chambers is a top TV character all time, how dare you. Rebecca wasn’t bad either. Blasphemy. Tina Yothers had to have been a nepo-baby, I haven’t done the research. Only thing that makes sense.

Janice and Skyler were definitely the former and played to perfection imo AJ and Flynn? 🤢 🤮 🤮
February 22Feb 22 Not TV but the (original) Hangover was a good movie despite the beating that is Zach Galifianakis.
February 22Feb 22 Pretty random but I remember aggressively hating the character of Elton in Clueless.

BUT...this time through i find i have a new appreciation for Skylar, seriously. like...she was living with someone transforming into a monster! she was justifiably suspicious and worried about his behavior, she had just had a damn baby, dealing with his cancer, bills piling up, he was acting all shady...this time around i tried to put myself in her position and thought about how i would act and i'm not sure it would be that much different. the episode where she busted him in all his lies, the whole 'but then...i called your mother...' i mean what spouse much less wife WOULDN'T freak the fuck out and kick his ass at that point?? realizing that she legitimately had no idea what he was actually doing, she was flying blind and i her reaction was completely understandable. but then...working out all the details on the money-laundering, playing hardball on the carwash purchase...the act she put on to get Ted and herself out of trouble with the IRS (really, that was brilliant)...i mean she was seriously smart as hell. so yeah...kind of a busybody and could be a nag at times, but overall im realizing this time through, considering everything she was dealing with she was a pretty remarkable wife/mother. hell of a lot better than this bitch ended up being lol

February 23Feb 23 I think Season 6 AJ Soprano is the clear, break away winner. Beth Dutton sucks, but at least she showed the goods. I have no fucking idea what they were trying to do with his character. There’s a long running theme on the show that mafia life causes dysfunctional families, but AJ is spinning on Iraq War conspiracy theories and the world is a bad place bullshit. Not his dad is in the mafia, and it’s caused him problems. I guess Chase was going for even Tony Soprano has relatable problems with his kids. Robert Iler has never worked again, and we’re all better for it. God bless him, but he was the worst actor on a show littered with some of the greats.

February 23Feb 23 6 hours ago, Red Five said: Pretty random but I remember aggressively hating the character of Elton in Clueless. I think this was by design - Clueless is a retelling of Emma, and in Emma, you're supposed to hate Mr. Elton. Jeremy Sisto does a great job with that.

February 23Feb 23 18 hours ago, gofuckyourself said: Nope. They were intentionally awful, and hilarious. The correct answer from this show is Rashida Jones. Not a single laugh, ever. Jean Ralphio was great. Mona Lisa was tolerable. Rashida Jones was good for April bagging on her. Craig, meanwhile, is awful. That actor had to be someone’s nepo hire and the writers hated that so much that they wrote the worst character on television.
