How fucked am I?  Went down to my gunsafe tonight, keypad powered by a 9V battery.  Wouldn't open, so decided I need to put a fresh battery in.  Pull the dial off, try to take the battery out, and apparently one of the anodes had corroded to the connector and the fucking connector thing broke in half.  So, now I have the dial off, a busted in two battery connection, and no idea how to fix this shit.  Can a regular old locksmith get the safe open?  I am assuming that unless I can order a whole new dial assembly, the safe is fucked anyway.  If so, where can I buy a gunsafe with just a plain old combination lock on it that doesn't depend on battery power?

These types don’t also have key or some sort of other manual backup?

many hacksaw blades, patience, and time?

That's happened to me before.  Some safes you can order a new keypad from the manufacturer and after installing you can open it.  I couldn't wait that long so I got a locksmith to come open it for me.  I believe he actually had a new keypad from the manufacturer on him and that's how he opened it. We still use that safe today so he didn't have to break it.

Get aluminum foil where the battery connectors went.  It should be enough to make contact to get the battery to connect.

Ignore all those replies above and I can't believe those guys above for neglecting the obvious:

99% sure your safe should have a manual key option somewhere (even if hidden) as a failsafe (no pun intended). Just checked my gun safe as the exact same electronic keypad but also a key lock. If you don't have the key, you can get a locksmith.

Just buy the replacement pigtail.

Update: $250 locksmith call.  New keypad installed, programmed and I'm back in business.

2 safes.  Both with electronic keypad and keys.  The key to the big one stays in the small one.  The key to the small one stays in the big one.  I'm counting on the batteries for both not going out at the same time.
