Every single theologian from every major religion is in complete agreement that once Donald Trump dies, the first 30 million people who end their lives will be instantly raptured and sent to Heaven where Jesus Christ will sit on a Golden Throne …..next to the slightly bigger Trump throne.  Anyone who waits too late will be sent to democratic hell -where they will undergo mandatory sex change operations without anesthesia, while simultaneously being sodomized by Hunter Biden’s oversized sexual organ.

Please join me in sharing this important message with people of faith.

If the research, claimed by this group, is accurate, the trans kid is mere window dressing. I believe this is the group that raised questions about bullet vote percentages in the swing states in late November 2024. (The questions being, one, why were bullet vote percentages in swing states off the charts, while bullet vote percentages in all other states conformed to historical averages, and two, what were the odds that every swing state could be won by a margin of victory that exceeded the automatic recount threshold). The quotes accompanying the research claim are accurate.

The Ds are not going to win back any senate seats in 2026 - the map is brutal. But they’ll make noise on a lot of House districts.

If the dems can't capitalize on this economic tsunami, then they have no hope for ever coming back to power. I still believe in "it's the economy, stupid."

Throwing out the "you're dumb" card every time someone pointedly disagrees with you isn't really the way to ingratiate yourself to a community.

I don't have to integrate with dumb people. I have got better things to do in life. He was not just disagreeing with me. He has been hostile towards me and has shown very little reading compression in my opinion. I am not going to waste my time trying to understand him or his ilk.

The best part is that you think this is a good retort. You have absolutely nothing of substance so you hope that flinging insults and namecalling will distract anyone who's reading from your completely empty reasoning.

Do you know why I don't bother to call you stupid? Your posts make it clear, I don't need to point it out.

The shift to the right from 2020 to 2024 in the swing states was only 3-4 points compared to 6-8 points in the rest of the country. That doesn't even hint rigged to me.

Dude... Maybe it's not Dems. Maybe it's just we have an ignorant voter base that can't be convinced they were wrong.

Surely you can understand that.

Quit going out of your way to blame the wrong thing. The wrong thing here is the Republican party in its fantasy brand creation, hate spewing, bullshit argument orating culture that you can't attack back because it's all ghost and there is no actual substance to attack. THATS the fucking problem and the more you (and others like you) chose to ignore the disease and instead focus on the symptom (oh the Democrats do this and do that), the closer we all get to our national death bed.

The research group said the bullet votes, which are votes for the presidential race only, and no other race, were close to, or above, 10%, in each of the swing states. And that, in every other state, the percentage of bullet votes conformed to the historical average, which is less than 2%. I haven’t seen the numbers, and that  makes me more skeptical than the percentage swing you mention, which is persuasive. Nevertheless, the charge is coherent and ought be easily verifiable, and as easily disproven. As is the claim on the breakdown of PA’s voting by mail totals. Show the nation the receipts, because, despite my skepticism, the quotes disturb me.

The other claim, about the odds of winning each swing state, and by the specific margins, is something I don’t have the skill set to evaluate.

@UTEE97 Dude, let me help you out since you're new to the CR. I hope this doesn't come across as condescending or disrespectful, and I've never found you to be trollish but vaguely recall you having a general disinterest (perhaps disdain?) for discussing politics. I hope others will back off a little bit, because I've always found you to be sincere.

There's a long history in the Cloak Room of posters coming in here with complaints about how the Dems are ALWAYS AT FAULT EVERYTHING, even when those posters aren't trolling.

  • The Dems aren't doing enough to stop Trump.
  • Why aren't the Dems impeaching Trump over this shit (read that one today)?
  • Why do they keep pushing trans shit on us? They're pushing away the moderates.
  • If only the Dems would be more tolerant of sexists or homophobes or racists, they'd wind.
  • The Dems need to be more respectful.

Basically, Dems can never do anything right because they're held to a much higher standard than Republicans...on everything. There's an expectation of perfection and an enormous double standard.

I think you got a taste of the backlash when you first came in here last week(?) saying that Democrats had moved too far left in pushing the social agenda stuff when the actual Party (the organization and most of its candidates) often runs as fast as they can away from those issues except on the general grounds of "They're citizens, so they should get equal rights, standing, and protection under the law." We progressives/liberals/generic Democrats only talk about his stuff IN RESPONSE TO Republican/racist/conservative attacks, which then makes all that shit an issue. It's really tiresome and annoying to be blamed for trying to protect people from bullies.

Now, in this latest instance, you come in with a statement saying something to the effect of, "If the Dems can't take advantage of these tariffs and the economy, it's going to be their fault!" At least, that's how it's interpreted by people who've seen all the same blame game stuff.

Yes, the Democrats are generally terrible at marketing. I think one big reason for that is that explanations aren't generally pithy and can't fit on a bumper sticker (if you're explaining, you're losing). And, yeah, this is going to sound "elitist," but the GOP base is also full of a bunch of uneducated, prejudiced rubes and religious nut cases, too, so it's really hard for us to reason with them.

Plus, the Republican base can easily get distracted from any economic argument when The Party and its multitude of media megaphones find some bullshit culture war goose chase posed by some dangerous "threat" from a marginalized population: welfare queens, affirmative action, CRT, DEI, woke, BLM, trans, the gays, kids are using litterboxes in kindergarten, liberals are pedophiles, etc. In every single case, the GOP (conservatives in general, really, throughout history) finds some marginalized group to scapegoat and turn into an enemy. And, of course, progressives have a natural tendency to stand up for the little guy. It's in our DNA.

Do you see where I'm going with this? The two examples I've cited where you've come in and blamed the Democrats simply sounds more like all the same that we keep hearing. Anyway, all of this is to say that it's a real sore point that you keep picking at.

I'm not trying to censor you or even tell you to censor yourself -- just trying to be helpful and explain why you get such strong pushback on it. I hope this is helpful context and not just another long-winded dickish lecture that makes you hate liberals even more.

If a party can't win when the primary election decider historically is in their favor, who should take the responsibility? Let's just blame the stupid voters? What good does it do?

There are some nice posters here and some obnoxious ones who make it difficult to have a conversation. These same dudes are this way in every forum. Unfortunately, this is a microcosm of our society now. Everyone is up in arms.
