There are all kinds of personal stories this season.  I expect a race to present their tragedies to dilute her truth.  There will be some that will ignore her condition and distrust that diad with Joe.

even if voted out both should be able to monetize that scene post show.

Man, he's one hell of a guy.  That was probably the most heartwarming moment in Survivor history.

Ok who admits they had a little cry with that?  we did.

That was awful to watch initially.  Eva powering thru that challenge when you could literally see her brain spooling up was monumental, then her total collapse into a full blown episode gut wrenching.  Joe then jumping in to calm her was awesome and emotionally powerful.  Great TV.

they either made their game or the exposure killed them both.  Cedrek is going to go down as perhaps the dumbest player in history.  Missed a chance on Sai again.

It was tough watching Eva struggle to finish the challenge, but so damn satisfying to see her get it done. That was awesome.

Not gonna lie, came in here to see who would make crappy comments about Eva's struggle and Joe/Jeff's responses.  Nobody did.  Major props gang, that was pretty special and moving.

That moment profoundly affected me, 18 hours later and I still can't get it out of my mind.  Feels rare these days to see pure, unabashed kindness like that highlighted.

It was definitely a little dusty on my sofa during that scene.  Who am I kidding, I cried like a little girl.

I like everyone on the current Vula tribe.  Really, the only survivors I would hate to see win are Sai and Cedrek.  Chrissy probably needs to be on the list as well for stupidly voting out Bianca instead of Sai.  Star was previously on this list, but she totally flipped the script this episode.  I also share Eva's suspicion of Charity, but there's not enough data yet to have an informed opinion.

That was awesome to watch. And I cried like a little girl.
And then felt weird wanting to see more of her in her bikini.

Eva is a superstar.

Joe is a rockstar.

Great episode for the TV audience.  I bet Eva's parents were jumping off the couch cheering.

It would be interesting to see her hockey team, her profs, friends and family watching it live.

Yeah but no surprise there.  That ship has sailed.

I'll never understand how often players just can't keep something to themselves.  If Bianca keeps her mouth shut, ot stays a 2-2 vote just like she originally planned.

I refuse to believe this is a possibility.

Team Star, Eva, Joe, and crap... I forgot the lawyer's name.

I think Cedrek voted for hisself.  After that performance having to be dragged up a wall by womenfolk he should have walked into the sea and disappeared.

Breakout episode for Star.  Feel like Kyle is playing the best game right now.

For me, Star's breakout was last week's episode when she willingly gave Eva the idol, and seemed sincerely appreciative of getting to hear about her autism.  She has come a long way in a short time, and there is no resemblance to the person who went scrambling for the idol as soon as they hit camp in episode 1.

I agree with you on Kyle.

I find myself pulling for Kamilla, Mary, and Kyle.

Star became one my favorites last episode.  Excluding Sia, most likable cast in long time.

I think this is a throwback cast.  When was the last season where all the strong people weren't voted off as soon as possible?

Another reason this season has been great.

Another missed opportunity to take out Sai.

And, sad to see Charity go. She was some nice eye candy.

Told my wife if Sai wins this season, I will not watch Survivor ever again.

It is refreshing, but the downside is that they aren't strategic enough to vote off someone like Sai.

Sai was the only one to vote for Cedrick.  Everyone else split the votes with Sai the 2nd option in case Charity played an idol.  Sai isn't winning shit.

I know he didn't but Cedrek voting for yourself could be a rock star move as long as you actually don't cast the deciding vote to send you home. It can throw chaos in a group because they want to figure out who did it. Of course I assume that Sai will admit to it. Then halfway apologize when reminded that she's only there because of Cedrek.

Sai is perhaps the worst player ever to have made it this far.

I'll sleep better tonight knowing Sai is gone.  I might have kept Cedrek around for another vote or two, simply because he isn't a threat of any kind.   Convince him, to work together and use his vote for my nefarious doing.  The immunity challenge was awesome.

I saw a story online where Sai was all pissy and said if she had made the jury she wouldn't have wanted to vote for anyone.

Good riddance.

Cedrek needed to go because he was an idiot. And his thought processes were suspect, so I'm not sure anyone could have counted on him as a useful idiot.

Sai and Ced offered nothing.  Neither trustworthy, both shitty at all aspects of challenges, both idiots at the game.  Waste of two slots.

But there was something mentally wrong with sai which could have been fun to see play out

Either way she had to go soon

Only the ones that live in her head.

Not excusing him but I have to wonder if Ced wanted nothing to do with straining his forearms in the challenge, being a surgeon. I’ve meet a couple of surgeons, not saying all, that offer weak handshakes.

That makes some sense.

I think he's just a weakling.  Last week he couldn't make it up the platform without 5 people pushing and pulling him up.

Agree about surgeons protecting hands, but if you’re even a casual viewer why the fuck would you go on Survivor and risk hands and health?  Be on Big Brother.

That challenge always guarantees someone small will win immunity.  They know going in which people are likely to win it.

assigning seats at the taco reward and then placing the advantage directly in front of eva is some bullshit. i become more convinced each season that the show is largely scripted and guided by the producers.

I had the same reaction initially, but then realized that the advantage mentioned something like “as a result of your success” and was scheduled to be revealed for the next night (i.e. the person has to survive tribal) so I think it was always intended to go to the immunity winner - for better or worse.

Glad Kamilla lived to see another day.  I said "anyone but Sai" previously, but now I'm team "anyone but David."  I'm actually pulling for Kamilla, which is probably driving a lot of my David hate.

This is correct.  Whomever won immunity would have been put in that seat. The differentiator would be how each might react to it.   “Hey what’s this here?”  This current player generation is terrible at keeping secrets; I’m glad Eva chose quickly to hide it.

Pairing up is always a risk.  Sometimes pairs work together to compete against other teams.  Sometimes you compete against each other.  Firefighter going home was OK with me.  But with that being said I think the producers should have forced one of the bottom 4 players from the challenge to be up for elimination.

Boom goes the blindside.  I thought Jeff was gonna call security to drag his ass out.  He couldnt believe he got blindsided.
