Umpire was right and coaching code violations have been going on for years since the 90s (why are people on Twitter freaking out like this is a new thing?)

They arent Tennis fans they are Serena fans

Maybe we won't have to see that commercial of that fatass beast running around before hitting the ATM.

Her behavior yesterday was shitty but “fatass beast”...dude...

she was going on and on and on....  he was pretty patient.
thinking about the tantrums that have occurred recently i could only come up with kyrgios and coco, both down under from jan of this year.  coco's was pretty bad.  but if you take gender into consideration it's ironic because at the time people thought she got off light compared to what happened with kyrgios.  race, on the other hand...
i'm struggling to remember other players who have thrown tantrums recently.  i'm sure you guys can come up with some though.

I’m not saying he was too impatient. I’m just saying I’d prefer the chair give a warning that he’s about to pull the trigger on docking her a game before doing so.

It's sad that this all detracted from what Osaka accomplished today.

Also fuck that crowd. Booing Osaka like that. It's pathetic.

It's the only time I've ever seen a player actually ruin a championship celebration for another player.  Fucking New Yorkers.

I watched the entire match this morning and Serena acted like an 8 year old.  She got dominated and she couldn't control her emotions.  NO played a great match.  She dictated the points and kept Serena running.

Alright people enough with the Serena bullshit talk. Naomi knocked her ass out and should be the story. On to the men's final!

Twitter told me that we’ll never really know if Naomi would have won without being given the match by the umpire.

Serena is the worst combination. She's extremely unlikable and unlike someome like Reggie Miller who relished being the bad guy, she acts like the whole world is in love with her.

the chair umpire usually doesn't give warnings before an enforcement of a violation for ref abuse.  in this case, i thought he was extremely lenient.  she'd been yelling at him for quite some time.  provoking him continually.  threatening him.

WTF really thought Delpo would be able to give Novak a better match than this in a grand slam final. Disappointing to say the least. Guess you can't ignore that H2H record and being 0-4 against Novak in grand slam finals.

Djokovic is killing it with his service returns. He's in top form right now.

Not much del Potro can do.

Damn. del Potro let Djokovic off the hook there 😕

Three BP saved by Djokovic, 4-4 level in the 2nd set. Insane game.

Is there really a fucking leak?

Yeah, they've been mopping the court from time to time.

delPo's forehand let him down in the critical moments... that will be the story of the match for him, sadly.

With a win here, Novak will be ~1000 points behind Rafa for year-end number one. He has a real chance of catching him.

If he wins here, he's the only one with 2 grand slams this year. Bogus he wouldn't be year end #1 with the ranking system.

The ranking system is cumulative though, going back to a full calendar year. Djokovic won bupkes during the first half of 2018 and crashed out of many tournaments super early during the clay and early hard court season. He needs to make up for that heading into the fall.
