March 2Mar 2 I'd bench Pryor for the rest of the game for that sorry excuse for defense. Holy shit dude play for the letters on your jersey.
March 2Mar 2 watch the Georgia players. They are constantly up in our face, 2 hands on us a lot(why not, they wont call it), shoving us on offense. Meahwhile we let guys go right by us without even getting a hand on them

Look, Derka, you’re just gonna have to accept the fact that you’re smarter than all of us. Ok buddy??

March 2Mar 2 zero pride almost zero talentThese guys are all mercenaries … it’s all about the Benjamin’s with no fucks given about the school for most of emThey’ve been given clearance to freelance on offense and develop shitty habits on defense No telling how the schooling is going but they’d be getting shitty grades for their basketball if it were a course

March 2Mar 2 Coaches really will do anything to not call a TO. He had a use it or lose it with one possession left and got lucky that Tre mishandled the ball. It is a crazy coaching world right now. Edited March 2Mar 2 by Dr. Teeth

I thought he'd earned a shot with the best tournament showing in well over a decade. I also liked the way the kids loved him. And after watching a parade of highly touted coaches in two sports flame out, I thought why count this guy out just because he's not a big name? But I'd have much rather had Beard the whole time. I don't think anybody was all gung ho for Terry like you're making it sound.
March 2Mar 2 Unless there is some weird Aggy game magic in the second half coming. Texas will finally be on every bodies not in the Tournament list. Georgia looks fairly athletic.

We will not degrade these guys because they are not being coached properly.

I was optimistic about RT and wasn't ready to give up on him until fairly recently. Shaka was just so, so fucking bad that it probably ruined my expectations for Texas basketball. I hope RT does well wherever he goes next and I'm glad that he's going to get a fat check because he stepped up and helped drag Texas out of the desert. Ultimately - he just wasn't good enough - and that's okay. We have a badass AD who will right the ship. I have RT way above guys like Strong or Smart. He's more like a Herman for me.
March 2Mar 2 You know this plane has crashed into the mountain when fans actually start missing Hunter and Mitchell.

I don't think anybody was all gung ho for Terry like you're making it sound. nothing that i said was inaccurate or blown out of proportion. in fact i brought up specific talking points from the pro-RT crowd. there were legit contentious arguments on this forum where several people insisted that it was premature to judge how RT would do at Texas, for all those reasons i listed. we had enough tape on him to know better.
