Millenial Bride demands wedding guests pay $1,500 to attend her wedding... epic rant ensues

Featured Replies

to be fair, its $1,500 Canadian, so thats like $3 US..... but still.

If this is a joke, its fooled most of the news outlets as right now, MSNBC, Fox, BBC and other are reporting it based on the screenshots from the facebook rant.

An anonymous bride who was initially identified as "Canadian Susan" didn't follow this sage advice, and called off her wedding after her guests refused the bizarre and unreasonable request. As a result, her over-the-top post-wedding-planning Facebook rant — in which she calls her friends "the C***S who have ruined my marriage and life" — has gone viral.

twitter link showing the screenshots:

My favorite part is how she is leaving the country for 2 months, even though she has a kid of unknown young age.... uh who is watching the kid?

We can only hope that while clearing herself of toxicity in South America she abducted by Sendoro Luminoso guerillas, disemembered and fed to caimans and / or jaguars.

From the article:

Somehow, the maid of honour (which is spelled the American way, for what that's worth) offered $5,000, and the groom's family offered $3,000. And then "only" eight people answered yes to the RSVP with a $1,500 cheque

I have to wonder, did she reimburse her Maid of Honor the $5K and the Groom's family the $3K since the wedding was called off?

Fake. Stupid.

she told them she'd pay them back when she has the money.

i would like to participate in your monthly roundtables, good sir.

Probably fake but if true...

is this any different than a "destination wedding" where the guests have to pay for airfare and hotels to Hawaii or some such place?

They both bailed.

So after reading the article, the 1,500$ is in addition to the cost of flying to and staying in Aruba.

And if you haven't read her rant (its linked on the tweet), you should. It is fucking awesome.

at least in that situation you end up in hawaii. with this schizo bitch you end up in toledo ohio for $1,500.

Also, the groom dodged a bullet on that one.

No shit...  lifetime of pain with that woman.

Some of you are also guilty of getting married during football season in a football town.  but you explain away your madness with comments and justification like, 'Bro, we had really solid microbrews.'  People don't want to pay inflated airfare to fly into your mistake of a life.

The worst part of this story is that they named their kid Declyn.

*Dyclen.  And he's screwed for life with that name alone.

an orgy with the bridesmaids...

That might be reason enough to PAY to attend a wedding.

Deck-lynne I think.

Used to be, you would have had to go to Canada and actually meet this person, then get to know her for a while, to know how stupid she was.

Pics of crazy bride?

I'm guessing either skinny necked wench with eyes bugging out, or else chunky assed wench, also with eyes bugging out.

1 -- isn't $1500 canadian like $1100 US?

2 -- All of this sounds fake as hell

AND the bitch scheduled it during football season! Granted, its Canadian football season. So, like its currency, its value is significantly less than any other form of the sport, including soccer.
