March 6Mar 6 I totally missed that prolific writer/producer, and Longhorn legend Roberto Orci died last week. I guess I was too caught up in the news of the deaths of Hackman and Trachtenberg to notice. I worked in Hollywood when he and his partner, Alex Kurtzman, were just becoming the "it" writing duo. RIP
March 6Mar 6 I didn't care for his Star Trek work, but appreciate the Xena stuff and a lot of his other stuff. Crazy that I'm around his age.
March 8Mar 8 Author Yeah, aside from MI3, his movies weren't my cup of tea, but I read a lot of his scripts and recognized the talent. Plus I was a big fan of Fringe. But I mostly appreciated him as a fellow Longhorn.
