jazz chisholm through 152 games with the yankees:

.253 avg, 140 h, 39 hr, 93 rbi, 96 r, 44 sb, .840 ops

is he an mvp candidate? no. but he’s one of the top 2b in baseball, and he’s a helluva lot better than most people said he was, and that includes his peers who voted him the most overrated player in baseball. hate him for his antics if you’re old and out of touch, but his production is undeniable.

CSB: Once went to a game there when it was Troy Tulowitzki jersey night.  First 20,000 fans got a jersey.  My family and I picked them up as we entered and then quickly realized as I saw people wearing them that they had misspelled his name on the jersey.  Have those jerseys stored away still in the plastic wrappers.

This looks 1000% intentional.  Framber needs his ass kicked:

My thoughts on Framber Valdez intentionally crossing up his catcher César Salazar:

His excuse even made it sound intentional. “Yes I saw him put the sign down but I had decided to throw a fastball anyway”. Wtf

Orioles swept Padres (yeesh), but SD did get this badass play:

Get up, Ramón!Ramón Laureano robs a home run from his former team 🤯

He's probably the WBC US 2nd baseman.

“oh we’re live? i didn’t know that.”

On this date in 2006, #MNTwins colorful commentator Bert Blyleven said one of the seven dirty words you can never say on television, TWICE!

By far the funniest part is nobody would care if Volpe just swung at the 93mph fastball down the middle https://t.co/CY4hbAAWeo

This fan caught Junior Caminero’s 40th home run ball. Then stadium security tried to take the ball away (and possibly detain him?) saying the ball is property of MLB.Thoughts???

I’m sure there is nothing else to that story at all.

The Yankees are the first MLB team to walk in a run, balk in a run and allow a run on a wild pitch in the same inning since the Yankees themselves did it at Kansas City on September 13, 2004 (5th inning).

😂😂😂😂😂

Umpire Brian Walsh missed 6 massive calls in the last two innings, all against the Yankees. Here’s a picture from his Facebook @MLBUA You’re dogshithttps://t.co/ExUaF8lbbd

Umpire Brian Walsh ended the game on a bad called strikeout to Jazz Chisholm in a 1 run game.Walsh missed 21 calls in the game and 15 went against the Yankees.

Automate Balls & Strikes.

But if blue is gonna fuck up, let it be against NYY.

#3433

That’s going to be the most lopsided umpire scorecard of all-time when it comes out. The MLB absolutely needs to investigate that ump for gambling connections, like they’ve been investigating pitchers for prop bets lately. He literally took a win from us and gave it to the Astros.

So literally more than the difference in score. Handed it to them.

Again.. get a better bullpen.

Sounds like a possible racist as well. Seriously, Manfred needs to get involved at some point. Last night was so egregious and the talk about the umpiring is all over social media today.

Eh... not an egregious call.  Only getting play because it ended the game.

But yeah... automate balls and strikes ASAP for no reason other than keeping losing losers from griping about HPU.

Taj Bradley told reporters he began studying scouting reports this week for the first time in his career.
“I just never did it at all,” Bradley admitted after Saturday’s start against San Diego. “I was kind of out there blind the whole time.” The stunning revelation helps explain why the former top pitching prospect never reached his lofty potential with the Rays before being dealt to the Twins at last month’s trade deadline.

This is embarassing. It's the Rockies, dude. What is he going to do after the game, find a paraplegic to push down a flight of stairs?

It's close enough where you can't take it. None of those calls were insanely egregious. Also they need a better pen

On a full count you can. Maybe if he had known the umpire was a literal Red Sox fan that had money on the Astros and was trying to make the Yankees lose he would’ve swung.

From @JeffPassan:“Barring an injury or catastrophic slump, (Alex Bregman) will opt out and join Tucker and Schwarber in a clear top tier among this winter's free agents … Bregman is bound to get the five-year-plus deal at an average annual value of $35 million-plus”
