Rockies have fired hitting coach BamBam Muelens and replaced him with Clint Hurdle.

This Cubs/Dbacks game is something. Happ GS in 7th and Cubs go up 7-1after 7.

Suarez GS in 8th and a shit ton of singles including a misplayed ball by Workman and then horrible play at home that allowed go ahead run to score and now Dbacks up 8-7

Lmao now Kelly with 2nd homer of game...3 run shot

Dang could’ve bought in after the 7th but my work bag is too big.

Everyone around here smokes outdo now, it’s gross.

Now Tucker 2 run bomb....Cubs up 12-11. This ain't over lol

Most runs in one inning in Wrigley Field history - 16

Harold/Amsinger run differential conversation is mind numbing

that cubs game was nucking futs. don’t remember seeing one like that before. prisbbyk haven’t felt like that since the david bote walk-off grand slam however many years ago.

also ftr i’ve been dead wrong about tucker. i’ve been on the record as saying that he picked the worst ball park he could have in a contract year and that he should have gone to arizona or somewhere like that. i also felt like the lineup around him would pale in comparison to his houston lineups, but so far so good. losing steele for the season sucks, but so far this team has wildly exceeded my expectations.

Edman leads off the game with a shot off DeGrom.  He’s been such a great pickup.

To be fair, every conversation between those two is mind-numbing.

Yoshi pitching a gem. 6 innings, 4 hits, 0 runs, 8ks. And DeGrom countered, but gave up a leadoff dinger to Edman.

Speaking of shows has anyone seen the documentary about the 1982 Brewers?

I think it is called Just A Bit Outside and is on the Roku channel

You weren’t fucking kidding about it being short.

Will look up the Brewers’ shit later.

last four innings for the cubs offense:

18 hits, 17 runs, 6 hr

^ Rather rare.

Six of Sunday's steals occurred in the first inning. The Elias Sports Bureau said those were the most stolen bases by a team in an inning since the expansion era started in 1961.

Damn, Giants’ closer fucking drills Neto in the stomach to force in one, then Adell clears the bases to win with a rocket down the LF line.

Kyle Finnegan pitched 1 inning today, with 1 strikeout.  As of today, his career numbers are 300 strikeouts, in 300 innings pitched, in 300 games.

I feel dirty rooting for the Astros, but here we are.

‘Member when the Orioles were the next big franchise with that wave of young superstars ready to take the league by storm? I ‘member

9-12 currently lmfao

This paragraph was in an ESPN article about the Fried outing.

Joe Jimenez worked around a pair of walks in the eighth before Raisel Iglesias retired the first two batters of the ninth. J.D. Martinez homered just over the wall in right field on the next pitch off Iglesias.

Not close.

LIke him or hate him, this speech still kicks ass.

No greater sign of strength than an entire city accepting martial law for a day so one of the most inept manhunts in history could be carried out. What a fucking joke.
