July 19Jul 19 Author It can be both, bro. Definitely horrific baserunning, but still a sick fucking throw. Edited July 19Jul 19 by shadow_operative2.0

July 19Jul 19 it’s hilarious that helo thinks he’s legitimately better at baseball than actual major leaguers, yet he’s totally unimpressed with the best throw that any of us have seen in years. off the wall, flat footed, no crow hop, no one-hop or bounces, just a fucking homing missile, john elway style, from the track in right directly into the third baseman’s glove. it’s legitimately one of the ~5 best throws i’ve ever seen. helo: “that is not a good throw.” Edited July 19Jul 19 by Derka
July 19Jul 19 Dodger offense continues to be in a complete funk. Glasnow with a great start, but we can’t hit for shit.
July 19Jul 19 Giants hate scoring for Verlander 11 hits tonight. 0 runs. 0-9 RISP He falls to 0-8. 4.99 ERA
July 19Jul 19 lol: also, yeah, eric sim makes a good point- acuña played a role in the runner taking it easy on the base paths.
July 19Jul 19 Given Helo’s posting history and Imma’s posts in the CEO thread I’m beginning to think they’re the same person.

July 20Jul 20 This Dodgers/Brewers game has been super fun in the background while I play guitar. Two solo-shots by LA B8 to make it 8-7 Brewers. I thought Ohtani had that last one for a second to tie it up - it was a deeeeep flyout.

July 20Jul 20 Toronto is a huge fluke, right? They have Jeff Hoffman closing, and look at their fucking outfield; it's a bunch of Astros' rejects.
July 20Jul 20 matt olson just hit a ball onto the chop house roof, and after the hr derby i have a new appreciation for just how much of a shot that is. he mashed it. Edited July 20Jul 20 by Derka

July 21Jul 21 Yeah, I like the creative "off-site" games like Field of Dreams and this one. Reminds me of Hockey's Winter Classics.

As a Cubs fan, your Dodgers have been a significant disappointment to me due to their abject failure to do a damned thing against the Brewers.

It felt like the Jays had at least six weak grounders that miraculously found a hole to drive in ruins or to extend an inning that eventually ended in runs. They have a lucky horseshoe up their asses at the moment. But they're playing aggressive baseball and they're a hell of a lot more fun to watch than the fucking Giants.

It’s exclusively Dodgers and Yankees. CSB, last year in Mexico City I went to Lids looking for a diablos hat. They barely sold any. Their whole inventory was Yankees, dodgers, padres, white sox. Walking around I saw zero people in mexican league gear either. If someone had a baseball cap it was only NY or LA.
