Karl Ravech and Eduardo Perez are so fucking trash that the high school kids on ESPN2 are killing it on the call.

yeah the kid announcers are better than anything that espn regularly throws out there.

Big boy tantrum, I’m gruntled. Apparently Estes hit Robles both in the bigs and earlier on this rehab assignment.

Cool, so when MLB expands to Austin, the team will be in the same division as the Astros and Rangers!

That's not going to happen.

What's the list of options look like? Starter? Any pitcher? Min # of innings? Rookie? All-time? Single season?

Lol image.png.8cbdd45a92b58745ad18cd9a11dbea53.png It feels like the Cubs learned a lesson from that contract and are committed to never overpaying again (and thus not really signing anyone of note).

Nice.

Already answered, but my guess would have been Kershaw.

Was going to guess Cristian Javier until I got to your innings requirement.   .201 in 509 IP.

Teoscar has been awful defensively.  Just cost us the game.

I so want to kill whoever is responsible for this dude hosting Quick Pitch.

The Dodgers should be ashamed!

also ftr i’ve been dead wrong about tucker. i’ve been on the record as saying that he picked the worst ball park he could have in a contract year and that he should have gone to arizona or somewhere like that.

yeah, so not only was i not as wrong about this move as i thought i was in mid april, tucker has been worse than i ever could have imagined after his hot start. not only does he have 33 total bases since late june (!!), he’s now been booed off the field for lack of hustle, and we’ve called up an OF to take some starts away from him. not exactly the contract year he’d envisioned.

and owen caissie (the of call-up) goes yard.

I wonder if we can get Tommy Pham to donate his brain to science. There’s no way he was born such an ignorant douche. There’s got to be a tumor or something in there.

kyle schwarber has a hr in 15 consecutive series, tied with sammy sosa for second all time. mark mcgwire did it in 21(!!) consecutive series.

Judge just hit homer #40. Crazy given how many games he’s missed this year.

Does he have one … or can they find it if he does?

stanton and rice go back to back. seven bombs for the yankees.

corbin carroll has two triples tonight, giving him 16 on the season. i saw earlier that the cardinals as a whole have hit 5 triples this season. yikes.

a fan is on the field at petco. the broadcast won’t show it, but the crowd seems highly entertained.

the dbacks have had 14 different guys get a save this year, an mlb record.

Damn

Most since Jose Reyes and Shane Victorino had 16 in 2011.

Next highest was Reyes with 19 in 2008, then Rollins with 20 in 2007 and Granderson with 23, also in 2007 (tied for the most since 1925)
