I just got a new RX.  I'd like to buy them as cheap as possible, but some of the discount websites seem sketchy.  Any successes with the smaller companies?

I just order from Warby Parker for 6 months at a time

me, imagining what putting in contacts is like:

Lulz. I’m 50 and never wore glasses until I got readers about 6-7 years ago. I got annoyed with having to carry them around or them sliding down my nose when working outside so I got bifocal contacts about 2 years ago.

I still suck at putting them in feel like that scene from Fire in the Sky.

Pansies

Ive been putting contacts in since I was like 10

after lots of price checking, costco.

Costco or make your eye dr match which they do now.

All depends on your insurance

800 Contacts was always the cheapest for me.  I bought a box from my doctor last time and spent way too much.  Right now, I have the same prescription for both eyes which makes it easy to order.

Problem with 1-800 contacts is they’ll bombard you with emails and call you on the phone a few times to let you know your prescription is running out and you better order another 10 boxes.

I've bought from https://www.discountcontacts.com/ for the past few years without issue. One year the lenses were lost in the mail (post office said they were delivered, but I have a locking mailbox and they weren't in there). Discount contacts sent out replacements without any fuss. They've usually been the cheapest when I've price shopped, but now pretty much automatically buy from them given the solid customer service I've had in the past.

Walmart usually. I’ve order some online before, but I almost never wear them now.

Costco as well.  Shop around, but most will show you a low price and then tack on processing fees that are outrageous.  Costco is consistent.   Not always the cheapest, but usually competitive and clearly a well run company to boot.

Yeah, I ended up at Costco.  Not the cheapest, but a good price.  I ordered on a Thursday and they were in my mailbox the following tuesday.

I used to do 1-800-Contacts also. Finally had Lasik done and I can’t believe I waited that long. Game changer. Incredible improvement in my allergies as well. Invest, definitely worth it.

not at my age.  If I got lasik, I'd still need reading glasses.  My contacts work just fine for me.

My kid got Lasik a few years back, courtesy of Uncle Sam.  He's got perfect vision, as required by his occupation (military pilot)
