Monday, March 24 (Second Round/Round of 32)

The 3-6 and 4-5 game should be really good today.  Think MSU could give NCST a game.

Do not expect Illinois (only 6 players), SDSU or MSST to be that competitive.

All eastern times.

Added ESPN analytics info.  ESPN wanted their fuck boy Geno and Princess Paige in the primetime for an expected massive blowout - UConn is the biggest favorite of the day.

NCST looks a lot better than they did Saturday. They’re a dangerous 3 seed along with Notre Dame

Worst case, ACL and she’s out until 2027. More likely case, something not as serious but she’s done for the tournament.

So UConn gets a free pass to the ff now?

They already had one. Geno could outcoach USC with brain damage.

ESPN reporting a torn ACL, will need surgery :(

Next season certainly won't be as exciting without her playing.

Breaking: USC phenom JuJu Watkins has suffered a torn ACL in her right knee, sources tell ESPN. She will undergo surgery.

Tourney has been pretty dull and chalky thus far but should heat up. Every 1,2 and 3 seed has moved on with a 4 and three 5s rounding out the field.

I'm not 100% certain but I'm pretty sure 99% of the time the women's tournament is like that every time.

Somewhat. First time since 99 no team seeded 6 or higher has made the second weekend

Happy 2nd weekend of the NCAA Women's Tournament!

Friday, March 28 (Sweet 16)

All ET

Duke -5.5
SoCar -17.5
LSU -3.5
UCLA -8.5

And for tomorrow:

ND -7.5 over TCU
Texas -7.5 over Tenn
UConn -15.5 over OU
USC -1.5 over KSU

I think I’d rather take ND on than TCU. HVL/Madison Connor + Sedona is a lot. And missing the F4 to an in state school and Sedona’s fists of fury would piss me off

We are built to shut down ND’s outside game and take advantage of their less than stellar interior play. I want a rematch of the OT loss 4 months ago

Ladies need a very good game today against the Vols….they will have a distinct advantage playing in Birmingham.  Horns will not have a crowd surpassing them.

Also looking ahead a little for Elite 8 times:

Sunday, March 30 (Elite Eight)

  • 1 p.m. on ABC
  • 3 p.m. on ABC

Monday, March 31 (Elite Eight)

  • 7 p.m. on ESPN
  • 9 p.m. on ESPN

Luckily, these are easy - the first games will be Birmingham, the second games will be Spokane.

If Texas wins tomorrow, they will play the first game on Monday.

Not a single team scored more than 20 in a quarter

Duke had 3 quarters scoring 9, 9 and 10.  They managed 19 points in the 2nd Q

UNC scored 13, 7, 12 and 6

Teams combined for 37 second half points lol
