Hola surly amigos. I can’t recommend this site/app enough. Whether you want to expand your musical tastes or revisit styles you encountered while traveling, Radio.Garden is the shit.

Spin the globe UI to find and listen to tens of thousands of radio stations around the world. Also fun to use the randomizer (Ballon Ride Radio on the right nav) and see what fate brings you.

If you find something awesome, post it. Happy gardening. Also, this is free you cheap bastards

Oh my god man.

You shouldn't have... you really shouldn't have.

Thanks.

So before I check it out, it gives me access to local stations on demand, without having to download a bunch of individual apps?

Just run it through a browser.

I’m not sure about how complete local stations are. I dig the odd stuff from some tiny town in Botswana and the like

So far no individual apps I've run into.

Ohhh, now I understand the ‘individual app’ question.

All station broadcasts are delivered through radio.garden. There are no bait/switch things or individual apps needing to be downloaded

Cool, I'll check it out.  I miss some of the stations of my growin' years, although they're probably all different now, and I've never been motivated enough to seek out their apps.

SABC3 (or 5FM) in South Africa is a fun station -- current ubiquitous pop hits but mixed in with other pop and rap chart toppers from SA and Europe that we don't hear in America.

KEXP seattle

I didn’t see song titles when running it in safari on my phone. The radio garden app shows the song title.
