March 20Mar 20 Alright - Gunnar will be back in Town March 28th and doesn't know when he'll be back after that. THIS IS A KID FRIENDLY AND ENCOURAGED EVENT It will be near/around downtown - I need to understand who is coming, because last year was a sad showing of like 5 people. I'm not going to cater for 12 people, I will for 30 so I need an early understanding of who is actually going to show up this year. Bring things you want signed and cash to pay the guys when they sign the thing you bring. If you know a kid who loves UT football, BRING THEM TO MEET THE BURNT ENDS
March 21Mar 21 I'm flying down from VA with the family. Wife and two kids (14 and 10) plan on attending. Kids have off school that Monday and Tuesday so we're making a long weekend out of it.
March 21Mar 21 Author bring cash to pay them for sigs. there's enough no, give up my spots for you + 2
March 21Mar 21 I'm just a regular Burnt Ends member but would come with a +1 (and possibly more, if you want a bigger crowd) if space available - is there a "recommended" amount to bring per person?
March 25Mar 25 Author on what? It's happening downtown at 530PM till 8PM ish BBQ from TBD will be served Whiskey cocktails and pours courtesy of Devil's River A burnt orange Magarita made with a sponsored tequila Modelo and Assorted Karbach canned beers unless I get a beer sponsor. March 28Mar 28 Author Event Space without the food. Gonna be casual cocktail mingle style not like a sit down dinner.
March 29Mar 29 Author The guys had a great time. Food was fantastic. Leslie was an excellent host as usual and the event was great. We have to get more turnout to these things because having this much leftover food is criminal.

I'd be down to come hang out and shoot the shit - I live in Bastrop rn so it's kind of a pain in the ass getting back and forth. Idk what the min donation is - $50 or $100? Or I have to do like $10/mo?

Leslie's specialty cocktails were, well - very special! It was good to see the TE group there. They seemed to be having a good time and they were great interacting with the youngsters in attendance with autographs, pictures, and just general banter. Gunnar's insights into the NFL draft process were interesting. Best of luck to him!
March 30Mar 30 Second what @DalTxHornFan said. Also shoutout to @immamacfor putting together a great dinner. The BBQ was top notch. The meats were all spectacular, sides wonderful. My wife loved the whisky cocktails! The TE's are just awesome, genuinely nice guys. Very personable - they would come right over and introduce themselves, shake your hand - you could tell they are very comfortable interacting with folks in this type of situation. Enjoyed hearing their stories! Looking forward to next year's dinner. Thanks again to Immamac for putting this together!
