I think he(his lawyer) scoffed at the notion that he should apologize/take responsibility, before it got dropped, because he(and everyone else with any sense) knew it would get dropped. He probably would have accepted a suspension but not until the legal situation played out. CDC said yeah, we ain't waiting.

He's the one destroying 3 seed ISU right now with a low level program while we embarrassed ourselves losing in the first 4 play in. He's the one that will be getting another elite job very soon, probably at UNC or Kansas, while we try to throw enough money to get Sean Miller over the hump. There's a reason elite talent gets major leeway. Why Michael Jordan could punch the shit out of teammates in practice. Why Shaq could be supremely lazy and almost never practice hard. Why Michael Irvin could almost kill a teammate with scissors to the neck in training camp. Why Urban Meyer could cheat and fuck around as much as he wanted. Elite talent cannot be replaced easily if at all. Once you have an elite talent, you do everything to make sure it works as long as they're producing elite results. You're coping. Yeah, he fucked you. It sucks. The university had no choice but to fire him, literally every school in America would have. You can't get publicly arrested for felony domestic violence as a result of biting and strangling your significant other, send a letter to your boss(es) doubling down without taking on a single ounce of accountability and then expect to keep your job. Them's just the breaks.

I get not wanting to be suspended until after the legal process plays out but if you were confident it would get dropped, you shouldve laid low and waited for that to happen.

I don't think he had that option and it's over anyway. Miller Time!! maybe he can get free beer for the students

March 24Mar 24 Y’all are fucking up replying to Hermanator. The dude is an imbecile regarding all things sports
March 24Mar 24 so TNT has Steratore on trying to cover/defend for the travel no call. THat is how you know it was a travel and egregious enough they have to bring that douchebag on. CSU should be in the S16.
March 24Mar 24 What's that supposed to be? Is it a cross between hook 'em and the weird rabbit thing?
March 24Mar 24 Pit crew you can wait till they get up so you're not bouncing a broom off their butthole
March 24Mar 24 Coach, why was your defense so good in the 2nd half? Izzo - Cause we rested the entire first half. I love Izzo. Always have. Always will.

Watching this just reminds me why this guy wins in March and had Texas Tech a few minutes away from a national title. They play smart situational basketball. Right now if you notice they will not give up the 3. They aren't sagging to help off the drive as quickly and they aren't diving under screens. On offense they're maintaining their motion offense and aren't trying to sit on the lead like fools. This dude is an elite coach. And we fucked it all up. Beard fucked it up.

March 24Mar 24 Started the week with 14 from the SEC in the field of 68. half make the 2nd weekend 1 guaranteed to make the elite 8, 3 others favored to join them, and 2 others with puncher’s chance.
March 24Mar 24 The great Tommy Lloyd. Would-be Longhorn legend. One of only eleven coaches to lose to a 15 seed, and about to piss down his leg in the 2nd round.
March 24Mar 24 The reviews are ruining the game. They have to rein this shit in. But they won't because the coaches love the stoppages.

That last review was a legit one. But 95% of the reviews in this tournament so far have been because of timing issues. The reason for that is because they don’t use the Precision Timing System (PTS) in the tournament like they do in regular season games so there’s an old fashioned dude who is manually stopping the clock.

I know why they do it but focusing on every millisecond could be done at any point in the game if it’s about getting it right.
