I'd like to see this more than once before I can believe anything close to 8-10. good news is we didn't allow one guy to go off for 40 points...it's a start.

Yep, need to see this team turn a corner and not a dead cat bounce / let down game by Bama

  • Once again, this was a situation in where the top 5-10 in the sport just were not going to leave. They have their programs rolling and at a high level already. Those coaches get whatever they want fro

agreed on the dead cat bounce. what I will say is Bama had just lost to Vandy and they should have been "hair on fire" to get a bounce back win. that game was ripe for a 20pt loss. we controlled a lot of that game especially at the beginning, which was very nice to see.

this is a very good vandy team with a lot of good wins under its belt. our offense will have to keep up because there’s no way we’re stopping vandy from scoring.

I think it could have been a let down for Bama in a sense of "ha, this Texas team sucks. Easy bounce back win" type of game.

We definitely showed up and they didn't look very prepared for about the first 75% of the game, until they came back to tie it late and we closed it out.

Are we all happy again? I stop paying attention to the team after the last loss, thinking this season is over, so I might as well save myself from the frequent disappointments. Just when you think it's over, they pull you right back in! Great, great win! Hope we can string a few of those together and at least make the tourney. It sucks to not have the horns be a part of the march madness.

that game made up for the loss against MSU, short term as it relates to SEC. had we beaten ASU, we are probably right where we should be(we did beat NCState though) @11-5.

the triple whammy of the Virgina ass blasting, MSU loss, and completely anemic effort at Tenn had us all checking out. 2-2 over the next 4 would be good.

If we could somehow pull off another upset against Vandy, it would show that it wasn't a one-off kind of a game.

Need to keep playing hard and smarter.

Then you are set up for a big crowd with the students back against Aggy, Moody would be rocking for that game at that point.

I’m sitting here watching A&M’s first year coach, with mostly no name transfers, getting his team to play good defense and outplay Tennessee on its own court. What a contrast.

Not happy but that win was unexpected, and the team didn’t give up when Alabama tied it up.

There were some positives I saw and give me hope.

Well said; this team ain’t perfect but last game was a very encouraging sign for the effort and grit if nothing else…

Aggy choked the game away at the line to lose in double overtime.

This isn't a very good Tennessee team either.

Texas just stunk up the floor when they played them.

Vandy only a 3pt favorite tonight. Seems kinda suspicious [emoji2955]

Yeah it seems absurd. Kenpom should have them by like 11.

Good point. Also in case anyone wants to know where I got it from.
