Dr Pepper Blackberry Soda Cans, 12 pk / 12 fl oz - Kroger

I've read several reviews saying it reminds them of cold medicine and I can't disagree.

But also I've gone through 4-5 12-packs of the Zero version already

Yea it’s pretty good imo and I don’t drink soda at all

It's fantastic but I sub diet dr pepper and sugar free coconut. I imagine this Dr Pepper is just as good.

Mormon?

It can't be worse than Dr Pepper Zero Strawberries and Cream. We've had that 12 pack in the pantry for months. It reminds me of a really bad protein shake.

DP/Blackberry sounds good.  If it's half as good as that 7up Shirley Temple they had earlier this year I'll be happy.

It's very blackberry forward, to the point of the actual Dr. Pepper flavor tasting too thin.

I like blackberries on vanilla ice cream with just a bit of chocolate syrup. I’ll post a pic from my library later.

As Schweppes has made real sugar DP nearly impossible to find, this is the real deal.  They cant say it tastes like genuine Dublin Dr Pepper, but it tastes like Dublin Dr Pepper.

I didn’t like the blackberry.  My bride likes the DP/ cream soda flavor.

Yes, always in our fridge. I've come to prefer it to actual DP.

Burger joint in Hamilton, maybe Woody’s, not Storms. Damn good burger and Dublin sodas.

A friend is a consultant for Dublin.  He sent me an assorted case.  Once cold wife and I drank all 24 in a couple days.

We bought the zero Blackberry and I agree with the cold medicine line.

The strawberry and the the coconut are both awesome.  Not a fan of the blackberry offering, but appreciate the variety.

I can't tell if this is on porpoise or not. But a missing colon would definitely contribute to your wife being in a cold state.

I got the Zero yesterday and IMO it's pretty good. Not mind blowing, but pretty tasty. Not quite grape medicine good.

I tried the Dr pepper blackberry and thought the blackberry was a nice change of pace from cherry but likely wouldn’t be a regular purchase as I don’t buy much soda in general outside of real sugar root beers. Mainly abita root beer, st Arnold’s root beer, the H‑E‑B pure cane sugar is great for the price, and others.

I wonder if those saying it tastes like medicine are buying the diet or zero styles which suck in general compared to non diet styles.

I accidentally poured a DP into my coffee traveler, which had an ounce or two of black coffee in it.  The end result was good.

Will notify my DP drinkin' oldest daughter on the blackberry.  She will freak.

I tasted the cough medicine. My wife did not. I got an all sugar Dr Pepper from Fiesta and it was pretty close to that old Dublin Dr Pepper taste. I didn't check where it was bottled but it was the same size as the Mexican cokes.

Dublin needs to invest in an aluminum can machine and end its dogmatic devotion to only single glass bottles.  Be like Rahr Brewing and embrace the appeal of cans to retailers.

I've only had the Zero Sugar version and it was pretty tasty.

Why can't cold medicine taste like that?

Well, nothing is.

Dr. Pepper has a diet Strawberries and Cream flavor out now. Not as strong a flavor as the Blackberry soda but still tasty.

Neither one has the bad aftertaste that I normally get from diet sodas so I consider them big improvements.
