Wait - they aren't reviewing that? Why even have VAR?
Var is only to keep the big teams on top,duh

I thought in real time it looked like he kicked his own leg.  I still haven't seen a replay to tell for sure if there was a slight clip of the back of the heel.

Ronaldo waved it off.

That's what it looked like. The announcers have Ronaldo's dick in their mouth, so they aren't talking about it.

It's as if they were not even looking at the replay.

they showed 6 or 7 replays and the very last one clearly showed what none of the others even hinted at:  he slept himself.  fucking bullshit, have to keep CR7 alive for tv$$

Well, Ronaldo. They know the story.

You know the more I watch it - he does get clipped on the foot by #10's left leg., his foot unnaturally goes across his leg and trips him. That's borderline incidental, but the hand in the back comes at just the wrong time.

This is what I'm watching:

Not as dive-y as I thought.

Steve Nash will be all over it

God damn Chielleni is a fucking douche

It was a pretty BS pen but honestly I'm not sure I would have put any money on Atleti in extra time.

Juve was much better in that 2nd half. Would have been fun to see another 30 mins, though.

pile.

of.

crap.

i don't have anything for or against either side.  but where the fuck was the var.  let's see if this studio crew carries infantino's water.

Really? With his lawyers? I doubt he serves time for that shit.

That doesn't sound like Morata at all.

"Let's park the bus in an away fixture against the leading CL goal scorer of all time. What could go wrong?"

With now at best only 1 Spanish team and 3 (and possibly 4) English teams in the UCL quarters, the EPL is the best league in Europe again, right?

Schalke standing in front of their traveling fans. Tim Howard does not agree that it was the right thing for the players to stand there and take the abuse. Schalke's season has turned to shit.

I think Ronaldo's departure pretty much confirmed that.

But even if it didn't, Real and Atleti both missing the quarters is about the only argument you need for the EPL being on top. Man City looks like the team to beat right now.

Well the ones i had listed in Critical (manu, juve) had some amazing doctors (var/no var pk late in game)

Flu like symptons could go either way tomorrow but expect barca/LFC to advance

It seems to be stronger at the top this year.  With likely 2 or 3 La Liga teams in the last 8 of Europa vs likely only Chelsea, I think La Liga is stronger in the mid table and more of a grind week to week.  There are no off weeks.  You have to bring your A game to play at Eibar in April or you'll get beat.

Am I doing this right?

Lets hope for a good game in barca/lyon and a absolute thrashing by liverpool

Lewandowski with a brace

This is a must win CL match, not a home fixture against Nurnberg.

Milan Pavkov for Red Star in November was the last time anyone tallied more than a goal against LFC. Before that, it was Bale in the final last year with Karius in goal. It doesn't happen often.

He's in their starting XI.

Well this game has been an utter mess so far.

So there's this thing called the champions league...

Why do I have to watch Barca in Spanish?  TBS is showing fucking American Dad reruns.  There have to be like 300 people in the country watching that right now.
