March 27Mar 27 Popular Post https://www.reddit.com/r/Austin/s/9HgcsgqkVE i was in my local heb a couple of days ago and a lady had her chihuahua, all skittish and shaking and spastic, in the top part of her cart, with her phone camera clearly pointed forward and recording, no doubt in anticipation of people calling her out for bringing that scared ass rat dog into the store. March 27Mar 27 Sounds great, but buying a fake service dog harness is easier than printing a paper license plate. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=amazon+service+dog+harness&adgrpid=103598221424&hvadid=664852541205&hvdev=m&hvlocphy=9199033&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=e&hvrand=14774769235333753396&hvtargid=kwd-902054133986&hydadcr=12490_13454886&mcid=94294cd57bbc3e63a0e5d5a2155a7557&tag=hydsma-20&ref=pd_sl_3kiagut6rh_e
March 27Mar 27 Popular Post it’s time to just ban the dogs completely. if you can’t shop without a fucking dog next to you then you need to order your shit curbside. dogs don’t belong in the grocery store.

March 27Mar 27 Popular Post My local HEB has sandwich board signs at the entrance that state service dogs only, but I bet on half my trips I see someone that has chosen to ignore that directive. A couple of months ago, I was in the produce section and a woman had her dog on a 6ft leash with him pulling on like a sled dog scanning the floor for dropped food. I dropped a casual “your dog is so well trained” while I’m picking out my onions or whatever and she followed me around the store for five minutes after that telling me how I had no right to question her having a dog in the store. I think the lady doth protest too much.
March 27Mar 27 If the dog is well behaved, not barking, or pissing on the floor, I don't give a shit if people bring them into HEB.

Yep. I love my dogs. Have had dogs almost my whole life. Never once have I taken them to the store( or on a plane.) Nor do they belong there. Some people in society need to abide by the word, "No." 3 minutes ago, Orange&White said: If the dog is well behaved, not barking, or pissing on the floor, I don't give a shit if people bring them into HEB. The owners always think they are well behaved. The choice should not be theirs. Edited March 27Mar 27 by Iceman

This 100%. They don’t belong at any store other than Petco or Petsmart. Leave your damn dog at home or order online.

March 27Mar 27 Apparently you’re able to bring your dog into an uber if you say it’s a service dog. No vest or papers needed

March 27Mar 27 I believe it is also a health violation as well. They are not supposed to be in areas with unprepared food. That is why restaurants have their dog approved areas designated away from the kitchen. I don’t think it matters, even if it is a service dog. CHIEF

True service dogs are allowed wherever their handler is allowed. I’m not talking emotional support dogs, but trained service dogs, and I’m totally okay with that.

March 27Mar 27 Just got back from France where seeing dogs in restaurants was not out of the ordinary. I don't have a dog but I was totally fine with it.
March 27Mar 27 Don’t want dog hair on my produce. Don’t want your french bulldog ass drippings in random shopping carts. It’s not like these people are wiping down their shopping carts when they return them

Don’t care = acceptance of aberrant behavior. Dismal tide and all that Id bet you give zero fucks about littering either and don’t put your cart back at HEB.
March 27Mar 27 I'm generally fine with dogs being wherever but probably not in a grocery store. My dogs are really well behaved but that doesn't mean they won't stop and take a big steamy shit in the produce section because they think they're still outside. 1 minute ago, hookemATL said: Don’t care = acceptance of aberrant behavior. Then we need to ban dogs from all parks, beaches, creeks, etc because the majority of dog owners don't pick up their dog's shit. So we can't be having that king of pollution, so we need to ban all dogs in all public places.

March 27Mar 27 People suck. People shouldn't put dogs in stupid situations because of their people things. This is a people problem not a dog problem

In all of my years, I have witnessed exactly ZERO dogshits in HEB, but I have witnessed tens of thousands of dogshits on sidewalks, yards, creeks, beaches, etc. Maybe you are just shopping at the wrong HEB if you constantly have to dodge dogshits by the apples. Or, you just completely made that up. Who knows?
