September 20Sep 20 We are up 6-4 against Houston with 3 to play. It’s entirely conceivable that we secure that tiebreaker.

Any insight if those are decent seats? Anyone got a set of 4 to sell? What's the best way to get there, park, park and ride? Will be my first time to the new stadium. 224 is where my season tickets are located. The view of the field is pretty good. Main video board is at an angle but it's not too bad. The section is mostly a group ticket option so you may encounter fans around you that get up every fucking goddamn inning to pee or buy food/drinks. Here's some pics from last night

Couldn’t convince my dad to pitch in for a two foot hotdog lol.
September 21Sep 21 Hopefully the guys who helped the near playoff run also get a chance next year. Meritocracy and all. Actual passion and fun playing the game and all. Either way the offense needs an enema. And hopefully we don't do something stupid like sweep Cleveland next weekend to help Houston make the playoffs, unless it miraculously kicks them out and gets us in (hardy har har).
September 21Sep 21 Next season the Rangers probably have a really good consistent offense. And they will have a really good closer. But they will have a crapfest starting rotation and overall bullpen. Because that's the way Rangers baseball go. I'll still be here for the punishment, though.

September 22Sep 22 Can we talk about next year's roster? Any of the rascals earn a starting spot? Which SP are under contract?
September 22Sep 22 When did MLB standings stop posting magic numbers? Anyway, if my math is correct and I understand the tiebreaker rules then we're locked out of the division and can only win the last 2 WC spots. We don't control our own destiny so winning the next 6 games may be for nothing. 2 losses will completely lock us out of the playoffs.

But, that was an epic effort on his part to avoid the tag. Not as epic as the rangers effort to avoid winning games this year despite the pitching and defense, but close.

That was insane.
September 25Sep 25 I don't particularly give a shit about Foscue, but someone in the organization really hates him. They called up McKinney over him (Wyatt to IL, Sam to 60) just to finish out the season. Zeke is playing 2B tonight, Foscue could at least stand there. And deGrom gave up a yack on his second pitch.
September 25Sep 25 Catching a few innings to see deGrom's last start. Other than the patented deGrom bomb, 8Ks through 4. And little Josh gets to 10 HRs.
September 25Sep 25 At the ballpark today. Seeing Joc and Rowdy in person makes me legit embarrassed they pass as pro athletes.
September 25Sep 25 The Twins only have one good player. Might not want to throw batting practice pitches to him.

What a waste. And it was the same team we saw in May all season long, regardless of who pitched. The arms stayed consistent. Unfortunately, so did the bats. Quote Their staff-wide 3.45 ERA leads baseball with three games left to play in the regular season. So does the rotation’s 3.40 ERA. The former mark is the fourth-best in franchise history; the latter ranks third. Each of the staffs that bested this current iteration played before the wild card era (1995) kicked off. https://www.dallasnews.com/sports/rangers/2025/09/25/texas-rangers-pitching-staff-jacob-degrom-nathan-eovaldi-tyler-mahle/
September 26Sep 26 Um, well, sorry to the Tigers. Zeke 5-hole is certainly a choice. He's still tied with me for yacks this season.

The immortal Donovan Solano over Foscue.
September 27Sep 27 Leiter has sharp stuff tonight. Hopefully he keeps decent location and no blowups.
September 27Sep 27 The resurgence of Leiter is probably the best thing to come out of this disappointing season…
September 27Sep 27 Ten wins for Jack is pretty cool. Hopefully, he continues to get even better and stays healthy next season.
