Fucking 2-0 looking fastball and that’s what he hit.

Too bad they couldn't get a lead while Garcia was unavailable.

That's the way baseball suck.

.125

How was n the holy hell does this guy even get put on a major league roster?  And it's the effing DH.  There's nobody in the minors that can just come up and hit, say, .200?  I don't get it

DeGrom needs to unfuck himself or this team has no shot at anything. This lineup just isn't good enough to consistently bail us out or score 5+.

Tough to take seriously a team that keeps running joc out there to hit- and hitting 5th no less.  And if you let him bat in the ninth, make him take 2 strikes after a leadoff walk and 2-0 count.

Bruce on Adolis.

Quote

“There’s no excuse, absolutely no excuse in the game,” Bochy said in quite possibly the strongest personal rebuke of a player’s actions in his tenure with the Rangers. “This can’t happen. I don’t know what he was thinking. Once [Crawford] booted the ball, maybe he thought he had it, but it can’t happen. It’s a game changer. We could have had first and second with no outs. You just play the game. You don’t stop.”

----

“I thought I was going to get there,” García said through an interpreter twice when asked to explain his thinking on the play and more directly why he didn’t slide.

----

“You are always going to look back at a game you think you should have won,” Bochy said. “There’s no dwelling on it. It’s fair to say things could have been different. It was a tough road trip. It’s a shame that he had a brain cramp there.”

We might be cooked.

HOU and SEA have the 24th and 27th SOS remaining.

We're done with Seattle. It'll be fine.

Glad Bruce is awake, but it's not as bad as batting Joc 5th or running out Garcia as a closer...or LuJack as the closer before that.

Seeing Zeke at 1B will never not make me nauseous. Hell, give Higgy a mitt and see what happens.

I've been thinking the same about Higgy and possibility of playing first. They need better options there that at least add some kind of batting threat.

that was crazy.  HR, double, 2 walks and an FC and you only give up 1 run.

Nice turnaround!   Haggerty over Joc all day long if looking for somebody to DH
