Texas Rangers 2025: Pitching has been fire. Bats not so much.

Featured Replies

CLee only pitched for 3 months with the Rangers. Was lights out in the division series and ALCS but had 3.98 ERA in the regular season and 6.94 ERA in 2 World Series starts.

When I turned it on for pregame the channel wasn’t loading so I messaged DTV and they said I couldn’t get it.

It’s the best start by a Rangers pitcher since Kenny Rogers perfect game.

Lee’s numbers were weird.  You’d watch him and it was clear he was the best ever to put on a Rangers uniform.  Then a look back on his numbers doesn’t show it.  I think I remember some article saying his FIP was way better than his ERA and he had bad luck with run support in top of that.  Basically played like a bunch of butchers behind him.   Don’t know how he compares to what Nate is doing but I’ve always maintained the numbers didn’t tell the real story with him.

and of course he was a complete terminator in the playoffs until WS.

Yu was amazing that day. But that was an absolute shit Astros team.

Yep, that was in the depths of their "not-even-trying-to-win" era. Even Altuve had a sophomore slump that year.

I remember they had deals where you could get a ticket, a hot dog, and a Coke for like $9 or something ridiculous. Sit anywhere you like, because there'd only be 9,000 people in the stadium.

Yu did it to the Red Sox once too I think an error ruined the PG after 7 2/3 and Ortiz got a single in the 9th to break up the no hitter.

I was on a first date that went about exactly like Yu's start- kissy and handsy through 8 then a cold shoulder on the walk back

Yeah. It links to a comment thread bitching about the new format, and I think I agree it blows.

Yeah, weird none of my devices will show it.

The old format was blisteringly slow though, this one at least beats that. I can still read the normal threads.

I get the feeling we wouldn't get that call on Judge in Yankee Stadium.

That's on little one, gotta play hockey goalie there.

Yup can't let that get past you.

Leiter looks like a world beater then just takes a dump on the mound way too often.

I know he's young but throw f'ing strikes at least.

I see we have some talent behind the plate

Higgy isn't really that good...

Missed the first 4. Leiter pulled for injury or just wild?

Also great time for Seager to unslump.
