May 3May 3 Mariners have driven in 5 runs this inning by a hitting approach pretty much completely opposite of the Rangers lately. Maybe we can take notes.
May 3May 3 I was watching for the chance of a no hitter and hopefully getting someone fired. Because these guys are beyond lost. They're in the Twilight Zone.
May 3May 3 I know it's shitty, but there is no way I would spend money on taking my family to see this team. They show fan shots, and my first thought is that poor dad.

May 3May 3 Yeah let's give them extra outs. I'm only still watching to get my Victory+ money's worth. And because pain makes us stronger.
May 3May 3 And plunks Raleigh for that grand slam and still throws a scoreless inning. All star Edited May 3May 3 by gofuckyourself
May 3May 3 From Evan Grant: Over their last 162 games, in which the Rangers 77-85, they are slashing .234/.299/.374/.673. Their slash ranking: 27/28/26/28. They are a bottom five offense for more than a year. And without Seager they're probably dead last in all of those That's a long enough trend to do more than demote a first baseman or change a lineup or two.
May 4May 4 Author At some point you have to question Boch. We have a top 6 payroll in MLB. The WS run was magic but we barely made the playoffs that season.

Eovaldi was nails and the bullpen was out of their mind. regression to the mean going on. CY has a bunch of strikeout kings in the lineup. I will forever cherish that World Championship because it is extremely unlikely to ever happen again. 50 years of watching the Rangers, at least I got one.

Just think some changes may need to be made. I like that we're spending money. We have a badass rotation. The rest is honestly the easiest part to fix.
May 4May 4 Seager, Langford, and Jung is a pretty good core to start with. Unfortunately Semien is probably done and everyone else is dead weight. I thought I was living in crazy town this offseason when they kept trying to tell us that Pederson and Burger were impact additions. Neither of those guys has ever been anything more than average. If the Rangers don’t go hard after an impact bat in the offseason, or preferably trade for one this season, they ain’t serious about shit.
May 4May 4 Joc's OPS+ last three seasons was 146/112/151, that's far from average. No idea how we killed him so quickly.

May 4May 4 The upside is that streaming pitchers against the Rangers is now a cheat code in fantasy baseball.
