July 11Jul 11 This Matthews guy is going to have a whiff rate of like 45% in the bigs. He’s going to have us yearning for Chris Carter and Eric Anthony contact levels. Also, this Milton guy is trending towards 6+ weeks of missing time due to a fucking ankle sprain? Where is that on the scale of weak-willed men? Somewhere between Jimbo Fisher cuckholdry and Timothy Upham? JFC.
July 11Jul 11 I don’t know if anyone is remembered for one swing, non playoff, more than Eric Anthony.
July 11Jul 11 Popular Post Buddy of mine threw out the 1st pitch on Weds, and dropped his mom's ashes on the mound, Shawshank style - she was a huge fan and he used to post pics of them at games all the time. Very cool moment. Spoiler

It gets better if you know how he sprained his ankle (and it’s melton btw)- he sprained it turning around and watching a HR fly out of the park. Something like that. Maybe jogging back to the fence to watch it sail over the 20 foot high wall in LF in MMP

Very cool moment. Reveal hidden contents I snuck on to the field and did the same thing, spreading my Dads ashes out in RF in 2019. We used to watch 50+ games a year together in section 134. Made me a Stros fan since birth. He had the best seat in the house for WS G6 2022…he also had the worst seat in the house for WS G7 2019 but we won’t talk about that

Sorry- didn’t realize that was intentional but yeah- that’s pretty funny. I’m not high on the guy but he should be pretty solid defensively and hit some HR and steal some bases (at least against RHP) but that’s all pretty theoretical as his track record since joining the org is that he’s made of glass.

Ha, no. I ad-libbed once I saw your post. He’s Milton for me now, for reasons stated.

July 11Jul 11 We’re never going to win again Certainly not until after the ASB although the rangers and then the M’s coming out of the break have abysmal offenses so maybe we get lucky and win one 1-0?

July 12Jul 12 I’m sick and tired of the LMJ experience. He should stick to selling coffee and quit baseball.

July 12Jul 12 Well, that is an unsurprising result for Mathews You know Trammell is going to show the rookie how a professional hits

July 12Jul 12 Never want to see LMJ pitch for this team again. He is washed and hate seeing his ass on the mound.
