I'm guessing he's done for the season since they'll eventually determine, after a 3rd opinion, he actually tore it

Yordan Alvarez said he’s progressing well and can walk without a protective boot. That being said, he won’t go on the road trip. He’s eligible to come off the IL next weekend in Anaheim, but that doesn’t seem likely.

This is why you trade him in the offseason. He's not built for the grind.

He actually wasn't horrible after he came back from it. .273/.337/.455/.791 slash and a better BB rate. Just shut him down so this doesn't become a thing for next season, where he might need surgery. This team could use a October off.

Tip your cap to the mariners.

for the last 10+ years always said they didn’t scare me and would have to prove it before I ever considered them a thread.

they found an offense (or at least a season for the ages and in one bat) and got hot at the best time.

14 out of 15 is incredible

Yup, sputtered then got hot at the right time.  They look primed for a run.

Just a reminder if not for an injury to Pena, Espada would have kept Cole on the bench in favor of fucking Dubon.
Bro he woke up this morning feeling like Dubon would have a great game today!

Remember when that was actually said and reported yesterday for Framber.

Dude is a dipshit beta

They did also add two bats at the deadline in Suarez and Naylor. These two have combined for 16 2Bs, 20 HRs, 55 RBIs, 27 BBs, and 100 Ks  while stealing 20 out of 21 bases.

The Astros went bargin basement shopping to add 22 2Bs, 11 HRs, 37 RBIs, 32 BBs 100Ks with 3 SBs.

Ausmus would be a big improvement over Espada, but the stink of Bagwell is too much for me.
