You know, I hear a lot of negativity towards Cooper Hummel, and I don't like it.  Yes, he fucking sucks and has a career 51 OPS+, but remember that he is currently hitting .158 below his career average.  He is going to come around.

Once he gets that one hit over the next 5 ABs, then cut him.
Sorry Papa Hummel

Dana:

Melton: will be at least 4 weeks    (jesus)

Paredes: think for sure we will see him in the next series in Sacramento. maybe game 2 or 3

Chas: doing all baseball activities; back in next couple of weeks or so

Dezenzo: not doing anything yet; feels no pain; will get some more imaging to make sure he is healing properly.

Dana, segment 2:

Yordan: out a month and a half now; he's 80% healed; feeling really good; no pain at all; next step is get a bat in his hands; not going on the next road trip but maybe see him after that.

Spaghetti: throwing flat ground; feels outstanding. not supposed to be throwing as hard as he is. but feels really good, next step will get some bullpens.

Matthews: need to see him make more contact; combinations of swing decisions and chases a little bit; once he gets to a place he is making really good contact and driving the ball...he is on his way.

Draft: 21st pick; narrowed down a few guys we think will be there.  next pick is at 95, think we'll get a really good play there as there is a lot of depth in this draft.

That’s as bad a lineup as you will ever see from a first place team allegedly trying to win.

My luck that’s the one game I got tickets for to see the Astros in person. FML

Baseball players have to be the softest players of any major sport.

It would be different if there were only 17 games…or 81.

Just a reminder that until all our pets heads were falling off and we ran out of players our dipshit manager took him out of games for defensive purposes.

Heck of an outing for the lefty. But what an anemic effort with the sticks. Time to break out the bottle of distilled voodoo that somehow overcame it yesterday.
