Framber is always nasty. That’s what aces do and that’s who he is.
it’s amazing how many of our fans struggle with this (not saying you do- comment was just handy).

All fair. He was extra nasty that inning though

Not only is baseball scorekeeping an incredibly worthless skill, it’s also really fucking boring. I’ll see someone with a scorebook at a game occasionally, and they’re always alone, and probably have been their entire life.

It’s got to be a bad sign as a parent if your kid really somehow takes to scorekeeping. No grandkids probably coming from that end of the tree.

After law school I was assistant GM for a wooden bat league team in the Northwoods league. I ran the scoreboard and PA system at home and was traveling secretary on the road. I was responsible for keeping and uploading all the stats and doing the media so I kept score on every single pitch for 64 games. I have 3 kids. I’ve never felt the need to keep score for the rest of my life. It’s a bit odd if you don’t have a reason for doing it.
still- I feel it’s something every adult American man should know how to do- like changing a tire or your own oil or something like that.

How about we score a run or two

You will get one in the 8th or 9th and like it.

Paredes takes such a good AB every time up regardless of the result. He’s the anti Altuve or Diaz.

Parades has seen 30% of Taillon’s pitches. Lol

Just walk him already.

If I was pitching he’d get one in the ribs automatically at pitch #6. Every time.

such a great pick up

I just noticed that Guillorme is wearing the immortal L.J. Hoes's #0

Y'all keep talking shit about Altuve!

I was about to talk shit and say Altuve is such a nice guy he doesnt want to pass Bagwell on hits so he has just been lingering a few behind

It’s a worthless skill. I have no issues with a man not knowing how to keep a scorebook. The act of teaching that has probably driven more people from the sport than 1-0 pitching duals from the 80’s.

Know how to knot a tie? Sure.

Change a tire? Sure.

Read a compass? Paint a house? Mow the lawn? Shave? All sure.

Keep a scorebook? Who gives a flying fuck?

Also, if we’d have polled the board with “which poster is most likely to extol the virtues of baseball scorekeeping?”, I feel like 90%+ of the respondents would have had Wulaw listed first on their ballots.

Baseball is America. I celebrate all of it.

If you throw the bat away you should be forced to go get it yourself while the pitch clock runs

#6 in the lineup is too high for Walker

correct

I’d have pulled him too. He wasn’t fooling anyone that inning and they were getting really good swings.

Agree. Still, there should be two outs now.

Isaac Paredes pitches per AB:

12
9
10

31 of Taillon's 101 pitches have been to Paredes.

37 pitches seen sets a new Astros record at this ballpark

averaging 9 pitches an AB is really impressive

Altuve can go an entire series and not see that many pitches
