I snuck on to the field and did the same thing, spreading my Dads ashes out in RF in 2019. We used to watch 50+ games a year together in section 134. Made me a Stros fan since birth. He had the best s

So, still leaving runners in scoring position post all star break I see.  The more things change, the more they stay the same

1st and 2nd with no outs shoukd be an auto bunt no matter who is batting until the Astros have a 3 run lead.

Agreed, but offense looks pretty anemic

Walter has been solid tonight. Hope we don't waste his good outing

Walker in the 7 games before taking paternity leave was 14 of 42. Since coming back he's 1-16. JFC

Nice AB for Trammell in getting that BB

It doesn’t fucking matter. We are getting a bagel shoved up our ass tonight.

I think 1 may do it.  Sad state.

Sorry, 2

Now I believe we might score 1, just for the irritation factor.

Weren't we told Pena would be back after the All Star game?

Hopefully he hasn't been claimed by the injury Bermuda Triangle that has claimed Spencer, Zach, and Alvarez this year.

"We're tied at 1!"

No old man Kalas we aren't

He keeps this up and gonna start calling him a left handed Brad Peacock.

bet his dad isn’t as cool as Jerry “Slim’s Fish Camp” Peacock though

Throw strikes, fuckers

really wasn’t crazy about the Neris signing for exactly this…giving Espada the keys to immediately using him  in high leverage situations

Asleep letting Raleigh go to second.

Stupid decision throwing all the way home.

Wild pitch

so many free 90 feet

Stupid, stupid baseball tonight

10 hours until Scottie tees off

Bullpen regressing to their mean could spell a long losing streak for this offense.

Likely 1-6 in the last 7.

Seems like we always come out of the all star break doing the opposite of what we were doing the 1st half.

Tell his wife to take that crying baby to a hotel.

Castillo's obviously tough, but the reality of our AA lineup has set in. Let's try getting to 60 wins before we start debating if 95 is a realistic goal.

Ya I'm tired of rolling this dog shit line up out.

Astros 25 mid season recap.

Some highlights, some extreme lowlights

Exciting new comers, some we wished they never came.

Injuries, trades baffling personnel decisions, lineups that are beyond ridiculous.

Fanbase that is now opining over Drayton Mclane and Jose Abreu….

Death threats, suicide watches this is the fan base we have always been.

Go Stros…. at this point just make it entertaining losing first place is gonna hurt. Just don’t lose the lead to the suck ass Mariners or Rangers

There are some hard decisions to potentially be made in the next 12 days. Do we trust our medical staff enough to honestly tell us when everyone will potentially be back? What will they be like if and when they come back? Does Yordan play like Yordan this year? The grownup conversation needs to be had that we have had some good baseball luck on the field so far but the tide could be shifting.

If Yordan is Yordan and we get another bat and everyone comes back, I’m all for full speed ahead. If there’s any doubt on Yordan or anyone else, we owe it to ourselves to at least listen to what some desperate team may offer for Framber. Keeping Framber to potentially miss the playoffs or be an easy out sets us back 3 years if/when he leaves. One draft pick is nothing. The Tucker trade has opened my eyes as to how it could help keep us keep rolling for another 3-5 years by adding 2-3 top players now. We will still have a solid core next year but the farm is still weak as hell. Adding a starter and a prospect or two would help. I’m not advocating we must trade him. Flags fly forever and if Dana can add the pieces to make us a serious contender then let’s go. But I would also like to be in this position for the foreseeable future and an influx of talent would help.

People lose their freaking minds at the mere mention of trading Framber. I get it. Fans gonna fanatic. I’d rather keep him too. People thought the world was ending when we traded Tucker and lost Bregman. But I don’t think maybe moving Framber makes us sellers. I think we could do both at the same time and contend this year and in future with trades. I’m not sure Dana has the ability or authority to get that creative. I’d love to see what Luhnow would do in this situation.

At the end of the day, I’m a fan of the name on the front of the jersey not the back. Let’s hope this is just a two or three week lull and we get going again soon. I hate losing. Just one man’s opinion. Flame away.
