Random observations:

That’s a stacked first half on the home schedule and weak 2nd half. Red Sox, Yankees and dodgers at home all before May 6.

one Thursday game between June 11 and August 20.

getting frequent flier miles to Ohio in late April/early May: 3 game road trip to Cleveland Apr 20-22. 3 game road trip to Cincinnati May 8-10 (and inevitably one of those will get snowed or rained out necessitating a return trip on one of those Thursday off days).

how do we keep drawing the long straw to get opening day and Father’s Day at home?

That sucks for me as a season ticket holder. You want Yankees, Red Sox and Dodgers on the weekend and during the summer time for maximum re-sale value.  It really helps if you can sell those tickets for 3X and playoffs for 4 or 5X then it becomes much more manageable to be a season ticket holder. Alas.

That being said- I don't think I've sold but 1 game this year- mostly given them away. But it's nice to have the option.

Oooh yes, outdoor April baseball in Denver. Cant wait!
I actually may go on that whole first road trip. Love me some cold weather.

I'm also the sucker who went to Minnesota opening day and chicago in April so i am all about it.

He could return.  Or he might not.  Having it laid out in two separate columns is helpful!

Today, @astros Joe Espada joins to talk about Yordan Álaverz hopeful return, peeling back the curtain on his recovery process. Welcome to The Matt Thomas Show With Ross @SportsMT Listen now & Everyday 10am-2pm or on the @iheartradio app.

Ha, tried to look at a DirectTV streaming subscription. The website is so confusing and misleading, you literally can't figure out what your bill will be in the future.  It's a total bait and switch.  Undeterred, I decide to call them.  20 minutes and three callbacks later, after clicking through a maze of voice menus that didn't work properly, I was UNABLE TO REACH SALES!  I'll say that again. They are so fucked up they can't even take a call from someone who wants to buy their service.  Fuck that. I've dealt with that bullshit from AT&T for years.  I ain't doing it anymore.

Then looked at Fubu.  Pretty good channel coverage. Don't like the lack of two local channels.  Maybe could live with it.  The lack of Food Network for the wife is tough. Maybe.

I thought about the DNS hiding approach with MLB, but I just don't want to deal with that hassle all the time.

Maybe someday the Astros will pull their heads out of their asses and make their games available to more people, like the Rangers have done this year.

astros a week in nyc vs yankees / mets would check off two stadiums for me, both i'd like to visit at least once
I'd rather vice grip my junk than spend 7 days in NYC

You have to go to the Bronx or Staten Island for that.

If there weren't any people there I could handle it...and 7 days of badass food!

Wait...we need people for the food.  Ok, select individuals can stay.

If Yordan is not in the lineup tonight, innocent people are going to get hurt.

Hopefully they have their own doctors.

There's really no point to have Meyers make a long rehab stint.  He's going to be better at the plate than Melton as long as he has a pulse.

Welcome back, Yordan Alvarez! 👀(via @Mastercard #BallparkCam)

Exit velo reminds me a lot of Dubie. Were Dubie hitting a driver and a Titleist.

He went away and Trammel you hung around And bothered me, every night

And when I wouldn’t buy your jersey You said things that weren’t very nice

My Yordan’s back and you’re gonna be in trouble

Hey-la-day-la my Yordan’s back!

Thanks. This is consistent with what I saw on the website. NBC and CBS are local affiliates and Fox and ABC are national feeds.

It shows right there on that channel lineup that @n64ra posted that the KVUE Midday News is being shown at 11:00 am.

In Houston, my Fubo lineup shows “Fox” like that Austin channel lineup does, but it is the local Fox affiliate- channel 26.

I’m pretty sure you would get all of the local affiliates.

A long 100 games ago
I can still remember how those hits used to make me smile
And I knew if we had Yordan back
That we could make those Surly idiots dance
And maybe they'd be happy for a while

But August made me shiver
With every lose they'd deliver
Bad news on the doorstep
I couldn't take one more double play

I can't remember if I cried
When I read about his long Corpus rehab
But something touched me deep inside
The day Yordan returned ....

That lineup looks a lot better.  Hope we can get Meyers back reasonably soon.

He’s going out on rehab today. Hope he makes it to the first pitch. It’s a big hurdle sometimes.

I don't want to hear any "back of the baseball card" from Bagwell when Christian Walker bats.
