I snuck on to the field and did the same thing, spreading my Dads ashes out in RF in 2019. We used to watch 50+ games a year together in section 134. Made me a Stros fan since birth. He had the best s

Yes

It's a Labor Day miracle. Bring on the Bombers before we cool off again.

You can't win every game in September if you don't win the 1st one

You know the Yankees must be tearing up their scouting reports.  Before, it was "let their runner get to second, and you are out of the inning."

Even Kimbrel can’t fuck this up.
He can die tryin though

You were saying

Balls 1 & 2 were accurate calls

Good job Kimbrel

gawd that feels dirty.

Nice win Astros!!!!!

Garcia gets the win in his return and we don't spend Abreu today.

I want to be pessimistic, but freaking El Reptil and Garcia back in the picture give me terrible hope.

I realize Cam getting two hits today means he will be sitting tomorrow against the Yankees, but more importantly will it finally move Smith above Melton on a certain posters sucks shit through a straw list.

I don't remember Garcia throwing much harder than 94, but it's been awhile.  His control was a pleasant surprise.

76-62.

Fangraphs has us winning the division if we can get to 88 wins. Would only need to go 12-12 over the final 24. Let's try for 14-10 at least.

Much needed win today. Bats woke up and Luis Garcia was very good in his first start. Thanks for saving a shitty sports weekend from being a complete abomination

Ok, I look at that and think we can still get to 100 wins, but I guess some people are pessimists

Would be an improved % over what we've been doing post-ASG. But should be doable, especially with us now have some guys back. Here's to Seattle losing today to give us a little nudge.

Craig Kimbrel since he's joined the Astros:

4 appearances, 3 IP, 0 ER, 3 BB, 6 SO.

eating innings

28 months between starts. Rolls out there for a quality start and damn good control ....

throw all sweepers

I wasn't able to watch today but after all the pessimism it’s good to see we can still pop that kikuchi

Picked up a game on the Rays and Jays and the M's are down 7-0 in the 7th.  Nice little Labor Day.

We really need to get the bats hot and get on a dub streak. Next two series opponents are a combined 16-4 over their last 20 gms. And both are hated rivals.

We play to the level of our comp for some stupid reason so I fully expect a 2-1/3-0 series vs the yanks

Uh we're already 1-0 in Sept

Haven’t followed you guys much. If you are still a team with a pulse we are absolutely fucked. I am dead inside and Aaron Boone and Brian Cashman murdered me.

Can we interest you in Dana Brown and Joe Espada?

We have about a month left but one of the more pessimistic tells of this year's team is the lack of a prolonged winning streak like we've seen for the last decade. Our longest winning streak is five gms, which would be the fewest consecutive wins since the 2012 team won five in row. Even the 2013 and 2014 teams had longer winning streaks. Of course they had longer losing streaks as well....
